    The puppets were so cute! This was a very helpful lesson to keep the question in mind which I find difficult to do. I get all caught up in reading the cards and forgetting what the question was.

      Most of my life I thought Muppet was a combo of Marionette and Puppet. Since Jim Henson used wires in a marionette fashion. But I found out years later that Muppet was *not* a blend of puppet and marionette-

    When do you use the narrative way and when with the focus card? Or if it's just what you prefere?

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  3 года назад +6

      Hi Anneke. My standard reading method is the narrative. I sometimes use a focus card for descriptive readings, but it's as you say, it's what I prefer at the moment. For example, "how does he feel about what I said?" is a descriptive reading but I'd lay a spread for a narrative because I want to see a story unfold. If I were asking, "describe the position she'll be hired for", I'd lay a focus card spread. I hope that's helpful.

    Do you decide before you pull cards or after you flip them over if you’re going to read them as sequential or descriptive?

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  3 года назад +2

      Always decide everything before you draw any cards so that they know how to fall. I decide everything and write it down before I even pick up the cards and I go over it all in my mind as I shuffle to reinforce. Also, continue to use the client's name (if reading for another) throughout the process to connect the cards to the correct person.

    Hi Lisa! in what order did you place those 3 cards on the table?

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Год назад

      Hello Emanuela. When I lay a spread with a center focus card, I lay that first and then I move from left to right.

    Isn't the birds card mean communication...and talking and gossip? Where did we get fluttering and flickering? How do we change the meaning? Lenormand is lenormand...im confused now?? Ahhhh help

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  3 года назад +2

      Many meanings have been changed a bit by modern readers who had no access to the original system. The original meaning of Birds card is: THE BIRD means hardships to overcome, but of short duration; distant from the Person, it means the accomplishment of a pleasant journey. This is a direct quote from the Philippe Lenormand LWB that accompanied all early decks. It's part of the 4-page explanation of this card found in my book. The Birds card does relate to noise/sound/chatter. It will only relate to communication when the surrounding cards support that, and then, it's often in the form of gossip. My book is also available in ebook form for an inexpensive quick reference. www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-petit-lenormand-oracle-lisa-young-sutton/1139004089
