oh, and regarding keeping the Grand Tableau for refence over few days or forever - I simply take a photo of it, upload to my computer, save and display on a large screen :-) This way I can date each reading , type in my notes, compare with other readings, do another reading and then come back to the previous one etc. 😁 Great tips, by the way - thanks! She wanted to know when she gonna buy a home, any career advancement in 6 months and any messages on her spiritual development or growth. How can I ask 3 questions in one GT? As I understand that we set one question or context as we shuffle and lay the cards. Lisa could you provide some guidance so that I not doing anything wrong. I want to help my friend. Can I set the question as what will be the likelihood of her buying a home, having a career advancement and spiritual grow in coming 6 months as I shuffle? Or there is a better way? Thank you ❤❤
Thank you for your kind words! Excellent question and a common one. A GT will provide an overview of someone's life as it will display all life areas such as work, family, health, finances, love, etc. You can also lay a GT for a single question where all cards will pertain to that question. Now, think about why the question is so important when laying small spreads. Because you are selecting just a few cards out of the deck to focus on one specific topic. This is no different than what we do when we read around the life-area cards in a GT to see what's going on in that area. So, to answer your specific question, yes, a GT can answer all those questions. You set your intention to answer all of them and decide what life-area cards you'll focus on to give you the answers. For buying a home, I'd choose the House card for the primary life-area card. I'd then want to see how that card connects to the Fish for financial exchange, any movement cards such as Rider, Ship, and Stork, lack of or slow movement such as Tree, Mountain, Coffin. For career, you look for your work card. What house is it in? What cards are touching it? Is it connected to cards of advancement such as the Ship, Stars, or Sun? How does it connect to the card of reaching your goals (Anchor)? For spiritual growth, I'd use the Stars. The message will come from where it lands and all the cards it connects to. This is all explained in my book in detail as it's impossible to teach it here in a single paragraph. Does that make sense?

I love that you're enjoying the book! And, Yes! I became proficient with a GT by laying several every week for simple questions that I used to lay 3 cards for. Have fun with them! You'll only get comfortable seeing all those cards if you see them on a regular basis.
I'm using the Old Style Lenormand deck which I think is the most beautiful :-) but that's beside the point. My question is this: I usually do a short spread for myself (at this stage), either 3 or 9 cards. When I ask the same question again, say few days later (about a situation in the near future), I often get a different answer. How could you explain this?
Yes, absolutely. The cards we draw at any moment in time are based on the energy we’re emitting at that moment. This is why it’s vital to be of a neutral mind when consulting the cards. It’s why I meditate for a few moments before I pick them up. Also, situations are constantly evolving - everything is in a perpetual state of change. When things appear to be staying the same, it’s because they’re changing to the same things based on our energy. If we begin to think differently about something, we are literally attracting a different response. Keep in mind that the cards can show us many different aspects and ways of viewing the same situation. You can also derive the same answer to a question by approaching it in many different ways and you’ll get different cards to explain it. If you can provide an example, I’d be able to better assist you.
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 this may be true when reading the spread as a story. I'm talking about specific questions about specific events that are locked in time. The future is fluid only to an extent; there are some events that are locked in on our timeline. What I did notice though when I tested this further, is that the connection with the cards depends on our focus on the question. When I maintain t he focus, I am getting the same response. So I agree with your suggestion to meditate and focus before working with Lenormand. I've been working for many years with Tarot, yet never had such a strong connection with it like I have with Lenormand cards which I have discovered only recently, for some strange reason. That was definitely a quantum jump to another reality as these cards were not in my previous reality. I talk about quantum jumps on my podcast you will find on my RUclips channel. 🙂
I started with 9x4 but once I began using the 8x4+4, I never went back to the 9x4. It's simply what feels right to you - there's no right or wrong. As for the first question, I'd LOVE to know what you mean by "real-life box spreads"! I lay boxes for everything so I can make a video on any type of question, but I'm unsure of what you mean. Can you elaborate?

The Child represents things that are new and beginning to grow. It traditionally refers to being seen as an amicable person and when near, tells you that you're well-liked. Because of the Jack of Spades inset, it can refer to dependable and kind young person who is known by the seeker. The partner card, when not assigned to anyone in particular, represents the most important "other person" in the seeker's life during the time frame. It can represent either gender and the surrounding cards will explain who it is.

I did this reading for myself (we have to move because our rented house is going to be demolished). I see that I will not be moving within 1 year. But isn't it better to ask if we will buy a house within 1 year?
Hi Anneke. If your intention is to buy a house rather than rent, then that's the question you want to ask. The GT itself can give you that information if you tell the cards what will indicate renting vs buying. You can choose House for buying and Tower for renting for example and see where they land and how you're connected to them. Does that make sense?
It makes sense. But i thought that in order to move we first have to find and buy a house. So the first question will be about buying a house and if we did I can ask about moving. It seems to me that the cards can't predict a move if we didn't by a house. Or am I wrong? I'm good at making it difficult for myself😁

Question, I’m using your book and I laid out a GT intending to find myself and read the box around me. the question is what is in store for me this week but I ended up in position 31 and I missing two cards to form the box. what do you do then?
Always read what's in front of you and don't worry about what's not there. Just think of it as currently unknown information. If you'd landed in position 32, you'd only have 3 cards touching and you'd still have plenty of information. In your case, you have 6 cards and that's a lot. You have the next layer out (cards touching your box). You have your line of sight and knighted cards as well as cards that connect you to life area cards. The more you look at that spread, the more you'll see!
