@@akaphrog yeah, coz my instructor car was a bit different than mine I feel like I’m first time behind a wheel once again and it’s just lots of headache 🙈😂😂 but I’m glad u having fun at least some of us can😂☺️💕
now i’ve passed i’ve noticed no one comes up close behind me anymore. it’s just prejudice against learners. i now always make sure i leave plenty of room because i know how it feels
You're lucky if nobody comes close to you anymore - some drivers love to get close! That said, I agree with the prejudice against learners and I too leave plenty of room for them. I think in the three years I've been driving I've only ever overtaken a learner once.
Exactly, I always try to keep my distance and absolutely hate when someone's (looking at you BMW drivers) glued to my ass, especially when im overtaking in fast speed
This is the only video I watched multiple times and practiced accordingly. With just 3 days of driving practice and no formal driving instructor, I passed my driving test on the first attempt today with only 4 minors. Thank you so much, Aman, for being my virtual driving instructor. It means a lot! ❤️❤️
I enjoy my driving lessons but I still get quite nervous before them. Weirdly, this is so relaxing to watch and I think this video is going to help me a lot. Thank you!
Can you please do more of these? Maybe specific to roundabouts, stopping at crossings, and how to reverse park without using a camera? I find your mock test videos super helpful. I've done 20 hours so far 😊
These are the best videos! I don't benefit from watching people fail, I want to see dashcam of driving with judgements explained so I know what good driving is!
Hi Aman, I always like these style of videos on other driving channels too and I personally find them quite helpful as I'm still learning to drive. Congrats on well over 200k subs now, richly deserved so keep up the great work! ☺👌
I love watching your videos. I am teaching my daughter to drive and your videos are full of useful tips and information. Also my late mum used to live in Greenford so I know the area fairly well, brings back memories.
This was very useful. I’d love more videos like this with you talking us through what you’re doing, especially more difficult roads - i.e. narrow roads with parked cars on both sides, maybe joining a motorway
I think this type of video is informative to both learners and experienced drivers. I know many drivers with 30, 40, 50 years of experience watch them. Just a pity some of the dangerous drivers think they "know it all" and wouldn't consider they could learn anything from them.
Hi Aman! Welcome back to the UK and many congratulations reaching over 200k subscriptions. Well deserved. I enjoy watching your driving tips managing busy roads and look forward if possible future videos driving on dual carriageways at the national speed limit. Many thanks and keep up the excellent work!
Hi Aman i love watching your videos. I myself am a driving instructor in Denmark in my twelfth year. apart from the fact that you drive on the "wrong" side of the road (smiles), there is much that is exactly the same here. however, we do not look all the way around when starting from the side of the road. from your point of view, when you are on the left side of the road and have to start, we are not looking to the left, i.e. to the pavement. we check the rear-view mirror, the side mirror and the blind spot for the side we are moving to. it doesn't really matter if there are people on the pavement. every time we drive around a parked car, we check the rearview mirror, side mirror and blind spot on the way around the car and again after the car, side mirror and blind spot back in. Really good work you do and you have a regular viewer from Denmark
Can you do a video on all the manoeuvres whilst talking about which way you should be steering when parking in a spot. I find reverse bay parking especially hard
The key thing to remember with which way to steer when reversing is; think of the back corners of the car, which way would you want it to go? So if you want the back left corner to go left, then steer left. Back right corner to go right, then steer right ☺
Passed my exam in redditch yesterday (3rd attempt) could not have done it without your videos! Please continue to make driving commentsry videos! Thanks so much 🙏❤️
Very informative video. Even more than the one featuring firefighter Matt. To answer the question: I would like to see more videos with professional drivers. Just because I have a feeling they contain more information than the regular ones. But I do like all of them. 🤩
Hi Aman! Great video on practical driving. Would it be possible to offer any future videos on night driving as this is a common challenge to all drivers both in UK and abroad? Many thanks 😊
This was so helpful, you break it down so it’s much easier to understand and it’s better to talk through whilst showing the pedals very informative because I’m struggling with breaking before clutch and some times coast whilst driving
Hi Aman, Love your videos on driving tips. Will it be possible to run some videos offering practical night time driving tips? I know in the UK late November it’s normally dark after 5 pm and I aware some countries impose night time driving curfews for newly qualified drivers. Welcome your thoughts. Thank you.😊
I love watching these videos, make sure I'm doing it right too! Motorways Aman, we need motorway videos. I have to use the M6 Carlisle to Warrington and it terrifies me!!
this video definitely helps me! thank you! can you do a video entirely on filter lights please? I think filter lights are one of the most annoying things ever, I literaly get SOOOO confused and i have no idea which lights i'm suppose to be looking at! please do a video on that! thank you
Hi Aman, will you be able to do a video on learning to drive in an automatic car please? Can you also include the pros & cons of manual vs automatic please as I’m a really nervous driver & feel like I’d be better at driving an automatic but have never driven an automatic only a manual. Thank you x
Hi always talk through everyday driving by yourself. It's not easy. Maybe we can do a advance driving lesson.. You don't have to thank us it's your hard work that's paying off.
Hi .I enjoyed this video, which is really helpful. Can you please make more videos like this with an explanation? it's very good because it's just you, and we watch your movements at any time 😊 thank you for helping us 🙏
Just been out on another drive today, my car definitely seems to struggle in 2nd if you're slowing a lot for a turn or traffic ahead at 12mph or lower. Gotta change into 1st. Some cars let you go under 10 easily in 2nd, but not mine I guess
I have a question about the zebra crossing at 9:29. If a pedestrian started walking across it from the right side (with the island in the middle) would you still have to give way to them (even if they didn't reach the island yet)? Thanks.
8:14 what would happen if you had a scenario like this in the test, but let's say after you have crept forward to see past the buses, there is actually traffic coming from your blindspot to the left that you have to wait for, and then traffic starts to build up on your right which you are now blocking?
Hi Aman, as a fellow driving instructor, I love watching your channel. I do have a question though, is clutch coasting picked up on in practical tests in the UK? I notice some differences in certain aspects of manual driving techniques between the UK and Australia.
I love watching your channel I have been following you since the beginning . we’re you on drive London at one time ? I follow that as well . I passed my test last year but still feel that I am learning all the time x
Always found Mercedes placement for the parking brake a bit out of reach on these A class cars. A friend of mine had one and it wouldn't release automatically like virtually every other brand does.
Were the seat too far back? There's no way you could've pushed that break down all the way to the floor without using your toes. Maybe that's just weird camera angles but otherwise that's like a proper major fault right? At least it would be in my country. Whenever I adjust a seat I make sure I could use my heel to fully depress the clutch if I wanted to. Then I move the seat forward until my lower back fully touch the seat while my leg is straight. Without doing this, breaking a car who has lost power would be incredibly hard. The force you can push with using your toes bracing against your hands on the wheel against using your sole bracing against your back are two very different things. The latter you can brake a car with, the first, all you can do is tell a functioning car to brake for you.
Please can you drive down some bendy country roads where there’s only enough room for one car with other drivers going about 60 coming at you from a blind bend.
Hi Aman Happy New Year, please can you make a video like this at Southall test route morning 8am test time, but you don’t have to do it early morning just the test route will do , ❤❤❤❤❤
