    Great video. Thanks. Also as another option inside the sampler you can actually edit the pitch and a whole lot more if you right click inside it and select 'Create Drum Machine Designer Track'. You then have loads of control over the various hits. Big Up!

    The best way to do chopping.
    Remember when you used to only work with audio...

    I'm still on garageband but I think my productions are at a level where I should upgrade. I was thinking either Ableton or logic. I thought that chopping to midi could only be done with Ableton so I think that's decided if I can do it with logic!

      Considering you've been using GarageBand, you'd be better off going with Logic in my honest opinion. Ableton is great but GarageBand is essentially a stripped back version of Logic so you won't have to relearn everything in a new DAW.

    what if you changed the bpm to 155bpm for example, is there an easy way to keep things in time?

    • @prspktvmusic
      @prspktvmusic  2 года назад

      You can by enabling flex within the sampler and quick sampler, but this may introduce artefacts. It's best to repeat the entire process at the desired BPM and save that version under a different name.
      Hope this helps.
