Hey - instead of T G to glue - I use " = " and it joins (one less keystroke lol)

Nice one. It’s sooooo close to backspace 👀 😂

And use Apple R to duplicate a region or pattern rather than Alt drag. Quicker and much more accurate

    • @Unders

its only more accurate if everything is exactly on grid though, If you have chopped audio for example thats a few samples short of the end of the beat. it snaps it back to the grid. knocking everything off. Thats where my option drag habit comes from.

@@Unders The duped region will align with the end of its original region, yes. But if you're dragging it's just as easy to do that, too if you haven't noticed the region is a tiny bit short.

The smart snap keeps them correct though. Thing is while you're right, If i tell people that way. Il get a bunch of all caps comments about how i messed up someones track because they did some micromanaged audio chops or something 😆

I don’t disagree, that’s the entire premise of the video. All Logic stock.

@@Unders how long u been using logic? I just started out, got m2 pro 16gb laptop, it seems very smooth and slick. But I used ableton before, so its bit hard to learn new shortcut

@@partlysimpson5154 10 years or so. I’ve tried Ableton an it just wasn’t my workflow. Before that I used (an still use) FL had that since version 6 or so. Worked in pro tools for a while as well. All do the same thing in different ways, just use what works with you.
