Thanks, I like the method of getting individual samples into a Drum Designer Patch. How do I do this whilst keeping a MIDI file for the original break pattern?
hey so im creating the drum track but instead of playing my sampled sequence i made in q sampler, it just plays the original sample. any thoughts? thanks
I'm kind of confused, so please bear with me haha, before you put everything into the drum machine, the samples in the piano roll were triggered as 1/16th notes ( or 8th?) even though the slices varied in length from the sample? then when you put it into the drum machine all of the slices were different in length. then when you made it 1 bar some of the samples overlapped eachother? I'm just kind of confused by all of this and wondering how after putting it into the drum machine you'd then arrange it into a break again if the samples are all different lengths, also confused at the beginning how you got all the different length samples to write in as 16th notes, don't know if this makes sense but I've been watching a ton of tutorials trying to get chopping breaks up down in logic but still am having trouble

I see so many ableton tutorials on manipulating samples but so few for logic, thank you for such a useful vid!
Glad it was helpful! you might find video 1 in my new track from scratch useful too if this was helpful, ruclips.net/video/uQTQ8E5wiDg/видео.html
Omg this was what I was looking for. Thank you!
What a great video. Answered so many questions
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for watching. Stay tuned for a tutorial on making custom drum kits work with the step sequencer.
Good video, keep them coming!
Thanks, will do!

you would need to bounce the midi as a separate file. Thats where a dedicated drum plugin wins in having a sequencer inside it.

Turn off “ play till end”

Is the breaks pack from Synth God available anywhere? Thanks!
Jon Laprevote I don’t believe so. I will upload a small pack to work with this video though. Good call.

also what was the shortcut/ menu you accessed to add swing?
How do I get my hands on that Breakbeat library????
All the vintage breaks? Collected them over years. Off of vinyl or swapped with others.
Is there a way to delete all the slice markers at once?????
Turn the sensitivity slide underneath to 0
Felt like I had epilepsy watching you edit the shaker at the end
Hmm not the desired effect of a tutorial. Usually your supposed to learn stuff.
@@Unders haha. I did. cheers👊
