    As a person very concerned about mold and parasites, it's amazing to hear you made it to 100 without going on a 💯 eradication mission aka war against the body. The power of dans pdp messaging and approach is amazing. Congrats on your full recovery Alisha and thank you for sharing this!

      Yes a lot of those bad neighborhoods as Dan calls them have a tendency to scare us into thinking we must avoid mold.at all costs...it's nice to see you can get well without it

    I can SO identify with the 'shall I stop the supplements/regimes/modalities?' question. That is exactly where I am at the moment because I don’t want to start feeling worse when I'm making so much progress. A great interview.❤

    Thank you Alisha for sharing your recovery from TMS. I relate so much with your story. I used to think I had chronic Lyme & co-infections and was on all kinds of detox protocols. Now I know that the protocols, the supplements, the fear of specific foods were only fueling my TMS symptoms, because they were fueling the fear. It truly is a proces of recovery from fear! Just like you I was able quit all protocols and supplements, I can eat all foods again. And I am doing so much better! Thank you again, it is so helpful to hear similar stories. 🙏

    Congratulations. Another hopeful, inspiring success story. Many years ago I was diagnosed with Lyme's through a blood test. When I think back all the detox and supplements made me so sick. It cost me money I did not have, so then the credit card bills piled up. I did not know about Mind Body then, so glad I do now. ♥🥰♥

    4 years with long covid & pots, been doing mindbody for it for a full year now, havent made any progress. It seems that everyone who recovered had mild long covid. I cannot even jog outsidr more than 200 meters without having 180 pulse and massive shortness of breath. And that is after months of retraining by jogging indoors for 10+ minutes

    Good story, very inspirational. I relate to this one more than others I've heard. I'm the only person in my circle of friends and family that is so focused on health and wellness. And I'm the only one that is chronically unwell. There's this idea I've been hung up on for some time now and that's, "well, yeah I still feel bad, but if I stop all the supplementing and fixation on diet, breathwork, blah blah blah, then I'll feel REALLY bad." I have no evidence to support that idea.

    Thinking, or worse, visualizing parasites taking over your body is enough to make anyone very fearful. I’ve been there, and kept looking for the holy Grail to make me feel better. Including cleansing clinics and saltwater protocols, the list is endless, but I never got better. It wasn’t Until I started letting go of the fear. I definitely saw myself in this story. Thank you for sharing it.

    I can so empathise I had heart palpitations, fast heart rate and being terrified to move as I felt my heart rate. I took beta blocker but tried to come off bu halving my 1.25mg bisoprolol heart rate went mental woke with adrenaline surges 160bpm heart rate. Went to hospital heart was fine. My heart rate is much better and normal but I’m terrified to stop the last 1/4 of the 1.25mg dose incase the same thing happens again. It happened every night or so for weeks but settled so decided to 1/4 and it happened again but eventually settled so I’m now stuck. I was left prettified every day for months. I had to relearn leaving the house everything was a huge danger. I am a lot better but I now get weird nerve sensations and heavy body feeling. I can lift my phone at times and it feels like a boulder. Even walking can do it. I believe fear has messed up my perceptions so I need to keep doing things but staying calm until it decides to believe I’m safe

    • @kateking3953
      @kateking3953 10 часов назад +3

      I had exactly the same heart stuff after covid, and have had bisoprolol 1.25 for four years. I got to a point where I stopped taking it in 2021 and then got covid
      again and it all came back. I got to a point where I would take one every other day, and then every two days. I can identify and empathise with the leaving the house thing. Just soldier on with it all - things do gradually calm down. xx

    • @kateking3953
      @kateking3953 5 часов назад +2

      @@sherylmarshall1444 Hi Sheryl, you will have seen mine above I expect. I've worked in medicine, and 'scraping bits off' medications does not work, and is potentially not a good idea! Try titrating it down gradually. Pick a day when you don't have to go anywhere or do anything stressful, and don't take your bisoprolol. Are you taking 1 a day? Don't take it, don't think about it, and see how you go. If you start getting a higher heart rate, lie down for five minutes and breathe calmly, and it settle. You know you have them if
      you're really struggling. Then take 1 next day as usual. It's not sensible
      to stop cardiac medicine cold turkey if you've been on them a while. Then on day three or four, try again. It will take a while for your system to
      re-adjust, but it will happen. I've done it. But because of my medical
      background I knew to do it sensibly. xx

    • @kayoss2306
      @kayoss2306 6 часов назад +4

      It's the same thing as M.E/CFS which is often post-viral. The initial infection is gone but the body can't switch off the signals of malaise, pain, brain fog etc. It's much the same as how TMS can result after a real injury, but the body keeps sending pain signals after the body has healed. Usually because the nervous system is chronically stressed.

    • @kateking3953
      @kateking3953 8 часов назад +2

      I got covid in March 2020, and had the whole heart/POTS/blood vessel thing within a couple of months of recovering from the virus. There were no vaccinations at that point, and I'd previously been very fit, active and well. I had no reason to believe I would get 'long covid' as it hadn't been heard of then,
      and with a background in medicine I didn't have a lot of amorphous fears about anything. The post-covid picture is likely to be much more complex than 'just'
      TMS. It's going to come down in the end I think about residual viral
      infection in some people, in the same way that herpes can be retained
      and manifest as shingles. I'm sure there are TMS elements once the
      problems manifest, because they're disabling and frightening.
