Darrell Latham same. Just keep in mind, “Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 Examine all things. Edit: the most important line in the song is “Love’s the only thing that ever saved my life.”
I am most aware. My post was not related to any doubt of the Word, it was about a personal experience, really about opening my eyes/mind to some self-truths. Sorry for the ambiguity. D
I worry (too much) about what effect widespread psychedelic use (if it’s not already widespread, I’d say the stock is pointing up, unfortunately I’m not a stockbrocker, just a humble “rock ‘n roll riter” (spelling and puntuation not my strong suit, I lean heavy towards the rock ‘n roll part of that title, and I’m not payin 12$ a month for spelcheck, dad). will have upon the ability of the word to actually be heard. I worry that young’ns like the ones seen in the crowd at 6:35 might have sniffed one too many peyõtes to believe anything. Paired with the content of the lyrics at that moment...idk just kinda made me icky or something. I remember now that’s why I originally wrote that first reply. Beware unearned “wisdom” or some shit.
Sturgill is a musical genius, one of kind and far more important than any other artist I’ve heard in the last decade. This band is special. This is pure genius.
Sturgill always puts on a good show, but I notice there are times he just feels like rocking out and the shows are edgier, and that's when he's magical. This looks like it was one of those shows.
Was there a whole bunch of Little Feat, "All That You Dream" for the first 5 mins? Fa-fa-Phantastic! ruclips.net/video/S8V1olWt8I0/видео.html. Love Feat. Love Sturgill.
I'm not that big on the band, no disrespect just not my thing. That being said, a couple of the songs on sound and fury are up there with the best songs that have come out this century
"There's a gateway in our mind that leads somewhere out there beyond this plane ". This song changed my life in Jan/17. For that I am glad.

Darrell Latham I hear you barking big dog!
Darrell Latham also, I just rewatched this one, his little solo transition run thingy starting at 2:11 is awesome

Unreal how he can blend his music into this crowd and still keep the integrity of his songs. He's a hell of a good guitar player
Kudos to Sturgill for giving a classic performance to a dead crowd
"Some Days" Love this song!💖
Sturgill all the way down
Sturgill is one of those song writers that require their lyrics be read while listening to their songs, but goddamn he’s brilliant.
First time to hear this version. ❤
