    Thank you soo much for this. Over the past year; taught myself crochet unable to read patterns due to limitations, I've studied 9 tutorials to connect some lovely squares for a lapghan for elderly neighbour. Your method is the only one I understood and feel confident to try. Its not other UTubers' methods by any means its my inability. Thank you for you're lovely manner it means a lot to me to be able to finish the lapghan🙏❣

    When I first tried to learn to crochet, I loaded the hexagon tutorial and got frustrated because I couldn't make my work look anything like this! My advice to you, if you are in the same position is persevere! It took me a while to get my tension right - the most frustrating thing! And the terminology is very confusing to because UK and US have different terms for the same thing. Once I had been away and worked on my tension and learned some basic terminology, I came back to this and suddenly it made sense! I'm now using this tutorial to join my first three hexagons and am delighted with the result! Thank you so much, Blossom! 💙

    The way you do your tutorials is by far the best you are slow enough to follow and the way you explain what you are doing is spot on I am now exploring different ways to crochet and you are helping me so much you are amazing and I thank you. Stay safe

    I like to whip stitch, too. It looks so nice and neat. I like the crochet hook method, too. It’s so easy.

    Thank you for the tutorial. I'm just starting on a hexagon afghan for my sister and while I had a vague idea of how to join all the hexagons together, I wasn't completely sure. This video has cleared my confusion up quite nicely, so thank you again.

    I have never made a hexagon blanket before and I have looked at several patterns and yours seems to be the easiest and most uncomplicated and my first hexagon turned out great. My question is...I've seen other patterns for 1/2 hexagons to fill in the sides of the blanket. Do you happen to have a pattern for a 1/2 hexagon? Thanks so much!!!

    Love both sts! Maybe a slip stitch for less ridge?

    • @BlossomCrochet
      @BlossomCrochet  Год назад +1

      Yes absolutely you can do slip stitches if you prefer! 🌸

    You could probably also crochet slip stitches into the back loops only to join them together. It may create less of a ridge and a more finished look in the front.

    Thanks for this. I have been using the second technique and don`t have a problem joining two hexagons but having made 2 rows of hexagons am struggling with joining them together at the corners of the 2 rows - because on one side there is one corner space but on the opposite side there are 2 (I hope that makes sense!) and I don`t know which to join together. Would be very grateful if you could assist

    Thank you for your great tutorials. I have now made several hexagons in a variety of colours. What do you suggest I do when joining them together? (that is colour-wise)

    My hubby wanted 5 sided for a blanket. I reluctantly made them. Now I can't figure out how to sew them together. Can you help me?

    Love the tutorial - the 2nd version of joining with crochet hook is the one I have decided to use. So you make rows and then eventually joins the rows for the blanket ?

    I am going to butcher this question. I hope you understand what I am trying to ask. When you are using the single crochet join method.. and adding multiple hexagons together, would you only do 1 sc in each corner or would you do 2? (1 to end the 1st then 1 to start the second)
