    Excited for the prot warrior changes!
    I really wish we brought something to the table that other tanks don’t though. I’ve always advocated for turning Rallying Cry into a Bloodlust, so that PWars are the only tank that can do so.

    Blizz nerfs DPS trinkets for tanks as tanks doing too much damage
    Blizz nerfs tanks defensives as tanks too self sufficient
    everyone gets annoyed
    Blizz gives tanks more damage... and now loads of people happy... I don't get it personally... Tanks did fine damage, would trade it all for more agency over my own life, this is just a plaster to compensate for the tank nerfs and to prove that a lot of tank players don't seemingly actually care if they are tanky but want to do loads of damage... if that's the case, play DPS in my opinion. I want to feel tanky and i want to live the longest, not put out loads of damage.

      Exactly, just buffing up damage won't solve the "1 shot" tanks issue we are about to witnes in highkeys.
      But for lowkeys? yeah I see people only willing to do damage.

      I think it's fun to rival DPS on big aoe pulls but I agree that I'd rather be tankier than doing more damage.

    Shado pan works great defensively, look over it again bro.
    Predictive Training gives a nice DR
    Protect and Serve + Vivicious Vivication on the class Tree is solid as well.
    Also you get dodge + crit, and mastery from wisdom of wall as well.

      I'm in agreement that a few passives from the tree are strong as you mentioned, but there are still major flaws with the initial design of the core ability Flurry Strikes, and the capstone Wisdom of the Wall. The Mastery component of Wisdom of the Wall grants 25% of current Mastery value. Unless you are stacking Mastery stat, it can be less than 1% Mastery value.
      On top of that, if you gain the "Bonus Shadow Damage" buff, it's almost impossible to expend the next set of charges before the buff fades, rendering it useless. The tier set also detracts from Flurry Charge expending since free Keg Smashes don't count the cast as energy spent.
      Against All Odds also just doesn't make sense. You'll always have 10 stacks per discharge of Flurry Strikes but the effect allows for 20 stacks, but only for 6 seconds. I'm impossible to maintain 10, let alone 20 stacks. To me, this tree is incomplete and needs major adjustments. Again, certain passives are great, "Predictive Training", "Protect and Serve", "One Versus Many", to name a few; but Flurry Strikes or the Energy Spending needs to be looked at.

      @@Sha_IRL Maybe I'm playing it wrong in testing but it doesn't seem to work for WW either. When I was testing rotation on the dummies, I came away from a 3 minute fight with the talent set getting out damaged by one of my trinkets. It was less than 4% of my damage. IMO trying to tie the build up to damage was a dumb idea when they have such a high energy requirement to send it and at the least it needs to cleave baseline. It's a shame because there are so many cool things they could do with the spec and when they do proc, the flurry strikes feel cool but they're beyond limp and barely seem to proc.
      Personally I think it would've been more interesting if they tied it to tiger palm so it had some use in aoe but I'd be happy if they just outright made it send as soon as it got 10 stacks. Ironically if they did that bare minimum it might actually do something that resembles damage given that it seems to be scaled for being used that way.

    LOTS of discussion in Peak of Serenity discord about Shado Pan viability. Definitely not as bad as you make it sound to be. Buffs to dodge via SP Hero Talents definitely make it competitive, along with armor pierce. Not as flashy as MoH but still workable.

    Been waiting for a video like this, as a Prot Warrior main I'm excited to get into the new Hero Talents and see these increases in action. The somewhat heavy nerfs that happened this past week were a bit of a make or break for me when it came to seeing CCs playing the Beta & running keys, especially on Paladin. Stoked for TWW!

    Is it a dream that the Druid of the Claw will be a potential tank? I really appreciate the gameplay, and even if it becomes weaker than Elune's Chosen, I prefer to play with that.

    as a Guardian Lover lol if i may call myself i also love Druid of the Claw a lot more , the play style just like u say is the way ti should be as a Bear , the moon is good true but doesnt feel right when u play it >

    Blood dk actually got a massive nerf. Losing the CDR on the DRW is massive.

    all bear dmg +20% // moonfire -15% 🤔 for me it's good

    Idk... feels wrong? I mean i see the pattern that they want to follow. They don't want the tanks to be "too tanky and self relying" but if they only boost and balance the dmg on tanks there's gonna be way less tanks then before. I love tanking but I always hated the way how Dh tank was the top. I don't like to run away and leave marks behind, feels ass and not a fun gameplay subjectively...
    We really need a middle ground where tanks can stand their ground with the help of a healer, having enough defensive so it doesn't feel like you are playing a less dmg-ing a bit more tanky dps, and kiting is okay, I'm not against that I'm against the constant running around and leaving AoR spells behind to keep agro, that's ass.

      You can play any tank, not just DH or the meta tank. You're playing the least played role.
