- I have a dream.
where one day, I have my own garden filled with vegetables and beautiful flowers. With space to relax in my hammock.
For now, this has to stay a dream.
My 2m2 balcony is all I have to work with and just a few improvements make a big difference.

How about some bamboo screen for the railings and sift curtains on those taller posts? More privacy

I didn't like the look of bamboo, but I found since then some old window blinds and I added them. They are made of bamboo but don't have quite the bamboo look.
I plan to hang some planters on the balcony above me, but let's see.

Hi I am also doing something with my small balcony right now as you. But my space does not have direct sunlight in the summer so I just use partial shade loving plants. Some suggestions for you. Try hanging plants on a metal net.. that way you will have a vertical garden and even people from across will not be able to see you when you sit there. And use self watering method to grow your plants. I only have to provide water for my plants once a month. I use only cocopeat and liquid fertilizer. That way you will save a lot of time to sit and enjoy your lush garden.

Hey, I was thinking about covering as well. My Idea was to use some wooden planks vertically to decrease the see-through. I wasn't able to find some cheap wood yet.
@@TheSwitzerlandVlog where i live a lot of people use this stuff wich you can lay on at the beach, im not sure about the english name, but its from some plants and pretty cheap. There is a similar stuff to use as a window cover, that works as well, its from some kind of cane i guess 😊

What is the name of the tall plant you have indoors right next to the big window?
It is a Dracaena sanderiana or also called a Lucky Bamboo. They do really well in spots where there is not much light and they need very little water.
But I named it Drake. =)
