The pure white one with red splatter paint reminds me so much of MCR's three cheers for sweet revenge. To The End, specifically, very demolition lovers as well. These are such a cute concept, I used to love making home made valentines in elementary school. Making these would definitely make my inner child smile 🦇❤️

Ooh this gives me ideas 💕 You could put a layer of foam just under the fabric on top of the lid of the valentine chocolate box. Then it could be used as a pincushion. And fill the box with spools of thread.

THIS IS SO CUTE ! Also laughed when you said “this is unsafe don’t do this” bc I was legit thinking to myself 30 seconds prior, “damn, they’re burning tf outta their fingers doing this” 💀
For hot glue you can use a silicone cooking spatula. Silicone does not stick to hot glue and perfectly protects fingers from high temperatures. They come in different sizes and shapes. I prefer a narrow and long one, which pastry chefs use to spread cream on cakes.

They also had little pink silicone hot glue Finger Protector things at dollar store ..I actually like them because I'm very hands on with making things. I use my fingers more than tools sometimes.
❤❤ those spatulas? I found out that they work to blend gel pens also. You have to work very quickly. But if you make a splotch with a gel pen..and quickly swipe with a silicone spatula, it makes a whisp. And do that again with a complementary color. And they blend..it's something I found accidentally and it's kind of cool to get some unusual effects?and I realize that comes way out of left field for This. 😂 sorry.

that bloody one looks so cool! it sucks that my local thrift store doesnt sell fabric and regular fabric stores are kinda expensive, would love to do one of these in the future tho. i’d have to order the charms online but it will be work it for next valentines!
That does suck!! Sometimes when I can’t find proper fabric swaths in the thrift store I’ll look into the lacy curtains/satiny bed sheets/ other interesting patterned things that can be found in the bedding section! I’ve also de constructed my fair share of old/thrifted lacy shirts and skirts and dresses to harvest the lace for new projects - so if all else fails I’d reccomend that! Anyway I hope if you do make something for next Valloween it goes well 🖤❤️🖤

fjgjdj i love how you brought up the difference between how Frankenstein's Monster and The Bride interact in the actual movie versus how they're viewed in pop culture, I just watched Bride of Frankenstein recently and was rly surprised (kind of in a pleasant way) how Not romantic any of it was lmao. The Bride didnt get nearly enough screentime but she totally stole the show, her outfit and acting were excellent!

Okay, idea: what about non toxic, washable, kid's type paint, for the insides of the box?
In latam spanish we call it "témpera", and it is really usefull for this kinda projects in schools for example, where kids bring boxes of any kind, paint them with tempera, and then put gifts for their mom(for mom's day) or dad(family day), and then give it to their parents as cute gifts.
Kinder and elementary first grades use it bc it is non toxic so kids can use it safely.

Those are all so pretty. If you want stronger hot glue you can use the gorilla brand and there is fabric hot glue that will glue your thoughts together. It is strong.
