- I'm trying something new and re-editing some of my favorite older videos! I hope you enjoy them, I feel a lot of the oldies get buried in the pile and could use some fresh editing! In this adventure Uncle Dale and I Jig for walleye in the Saginaw River in Bay City during the Pre-Spawn. Lots of big fish

Nice day on the river!! Looks like time for a longer net!
Thanks!!! Yeah this was 4 years ago, I have a better net now adays lol
What an epic day on the saggy!
It was definitely a day for the books🙌
You The Man, LT!!!!
I'm Envious!!!!
😊🙌
Some good fishing right there.
It's a blast when the river fills up
If you are landing enough fish for water to accumulate in the boat, you're doing it right!! 🤣 Great video, looked like a blast on the east side!
😂😂😂 wait till you see my most recent river video coming next week. My feet got soaked in the boat. I swear I patch that up every year
What an awesome day of fishing. Good eats.
Thanks!!! I think I'll have some new videos like this in the beginning of may😉
That would be awesome. Hopefully u get into them like that again
@@donaldrobinson1195 I'm betting we will. Rick and I went twice this week and we caught fish just nothing as big as these. Theyll be in soon though
Outstanding few days fishing brother. Awesome catches with great eaters, and some hogs. Loved the cat for a tasty cat fish fry. Thanks for the awesome video brother.
😊🙌 thank you so much!!! I'm happy you enjoyed it. I'm trying to revamp some of my favorite classic videos. Now that I have a better following I'd like to get them the attention I feel they deserved 👊
Oh yes ALL of your videos deserve attention for as good as they are.
Oh, and my liver doctor finally found what is wrong. Now different meds, and diet go from there. Also we need with 8 beaver through the ice before we had to pull them with bad ice.
Wow and that ship i had just heard about it this year in my years of scouting and 3 times on the silversides sub in Muskegon could've went to that one and closer lol
Bam 🎉🎉🎉
😊🙌👊 thank you!!! I'm going to re hash all my best old videos🙌👊
I miss seeing uncle dale in your videos, its been along time since he has made an appearance
I miss seeing him in general. I'll be lucky if I ever see him again and I have no idea why
@LTOutdoors15 sorry to hear that, it sucks when people ghost for no reason, especially family...it drives the mind crazy not knowing why!
It hurts especially when you were so close....he hasn't even tried contacting me in 4 years....I called him a few times to check in but he's never called back and seems to not care about me anymore
Great video, I see some guys say that they don’t keep walleye over 3to4 pounds. Do you think that is about the right size. I don’t catch enough to know.
Those are definitely the best tasting ones! Usually 15-24" are the best
Awesome job LT. Question if I were to come up to Oscoda and visit my dad. Would I be able to get on van etten? Or should I just bring the steel head stuff?
Thanks Jimbo! I wouldnt attempt it. Theres alot of open water and the ice thats floating around out there looks really bad
Lt.. are you guys casting or vertical jigging or dragging? Or what. Ice vertical jigs the detroit river many times but have never fished the saggy open water
Vertical Jigging, I explain it alot in my newer videos. I was green back when I made this video so it wasn't as instructive lol. The more vertical you can be the better. I was on the river twice this and usually I can get away with 1/2 ounce but the current is ripping so 3/4 or 1oz was the way to go
@@LTOutdoors15 very nice thank you
There's a fricken battleship there?
Yep lol. It's a destroyer. The Edson
Its awesome because you can fish right next to it. I've touched it tons of times lol
Any Saugers in there?
Nope we don't have them in Michigan
