Really cool find Andrew! You’re absolutely right that decomposers often go unnoticed and unappreciated, but without them no ecosystem could exist. Those rove beetles are amazing, I’ve always found carrion beetles to be fascinating. One thing that has always interested me is the process by which flies populate a carcass with their eggs. Can adult flies delay their egg-laying process until a suitable carcass is found? And what do the maggots do after the carcass is fully decomposed, if they’re not ready for metamorphosis? I’m glad you were able to share subjects like this, they deserve more attention!

That’s interesting, very cool! Also, I’ve been going through and watching all of your videos because quarantine does leave one with a lot of free time, and you do really great work! Every video has been informative and entertaining, you have a bright future on RUclips. Are you filming with a Vixia HF R800?

Very cool, that is certainly a testament to the versatility of the iPhone 11! I look forward to that series and the general upgrade to your channel, I think it will serve you well and allow for rapid growth. Best of luck with everything!
