What a fun song! Love Dire Straits. They are a great British rock band from the 70's-90's. Mark Knopfler is one of the best guitarists around. They have had so many hits including "Telegraph Road", "Romeo & Juliet", "Private Investigations", "Twisting By The Pool", "So Far Away" etc. They don't have a bad song.
Love this song and band!! Always played it at work and everyone would dance as we set up for dinner!! The highs and lows of life…just keep on walking!! Mark was awesome!!
If this song doesn’t get your toe tapping or put a bounce in your step, call 911, check your pulse and wait for the paramedics to cart you away!!! If you haven’t yet listened to Calling Elvis by them, check it out.
The pitcher wearing #45 tapping his chest in the beginning of this video was RIP Tug McGraw….the father of famous country singer Tim McGraw….(courtesy of a one night stand)
Love Dire Straits and this is a favorite. Hey, have you ever heard Steve Winwood. For example; Back in the High life, Roll with it, I'm a Man or Higher Love. Give it a try and see what it's all about. lol
Knopfler said lyrically it was about “Johnny”, a busker in the subway playing all different types of music, specific songs and such. It was Johnnies way of life. The video (one of the best ever) is a blooper real of sports, there is another video that has the band playing with Johnny in the subway tunnels. The sports bloopers da best !!! 😉
OK love dire straights. Dated to the 80s. The Expos were Montreal, Québec, Canada's MLB team. Team was moved to Washington DC. So yeah fitting even after the song came out. Failure is part of life. You just keep walking forward.
If a song can fix it, it isn't depression. Sadness and depression are two entirely different things. This is a great song, but it is not a cure for depression
I've been in 3 combat zones. Yes music CAN help with depression and other serious issues. I would recommend you A) restrain this comment or B) find help.

Yes, that one sizzles too!🔥If Michael likes "Walk of Life", he'll definitely enjoy "Calling Elvis". Good choice 👍
One of my favorite Happy Songs🤓
Oh memory lane ! Great tune! I was a bartender back then & when someone put this song on the jukebox the whole bar was doing the “walk of life!”
One of my favourite bands ever!!
Never disappointed with your reaction, Michael. It's the walk of life, yes, it's fantastic 👍👍🎸🎸🎸

@@michaelwduffy and Dan Vasc! His Sounds of Silence or American Trilogy!
너무나 사랑하는 밴드.
even the pros have their bad moments, and they lead to their success.
To me it looked like a series of mistakes and flubs ending in happiness and success. It's all in the Walk of Life.
I'm new. May I ask what is the meaning of the mayonnaise? I really would like to know. Thank you.
You win some,,,,you lose some,,,,🤘🤪
