having been in the audience on that day, I can tell you that Dylan looked visibly exhausted and worn out even when he was just coming out. This was one of his last appearances after a day and a half of Teen Wolf related activities at Comic-Con (including panels and signings) and letting the spoiler slip seemed like an almost inevitable accident since he wasn't on his A-game

I agree. I think you shouldn't watch interviews on RUclips about a film you haven't seen and the people at Comic Con were obviously Maze Runner Fans, what means that they've read the book anyways. I feel bad for Dylan. :/

Weeelll I just read the Maze Runner (read the whole thing in 48 hours after it came in the mail) so if I watched this interview before I read the book I would've been spoiled. Time to read the Scorch Trials before that gets spoiled for me.

I don’t understand why Dylan giving away chucks death was so “bad” tho. Most of the people there had bought tickets to the movie the night before and to this event and the others were probably the lovers of the book. He also must have been extremely exhausted with all the teen wolf stuff and the maze runner stuff. Give him a break.

I was a bit disappointed at this panel. I love the whole cast but this just seemed so dull compared to the other panels. I feel so bad for Dylan though. He was so flustered after he spoiled the end and it was such a shame, he's also under a lot of pressure and is really busy right now. But yeah, compared to like the Teen Wolf panel which was full of life and fun, this just seemed a bit boring and lifeless. Like they were all half asleep. Don't get me wrong, I love the movie and I know some of the cast couldn't be there but I feel that they maybe could've been a bit more energetic.
This is like 5 years late 😂 (I’m rewatching all the maze runner and teen wolf panels) but they were all exhausted especially Dylan since he had a whole other panel and signing session to attend. There is an interview that they did after this (the next day if I’m not mistaken) that is much more “entertaining” if that’s the right word. You can see that they have more energy.

Yeah I didn't even think about that. No wonder he's exhausted. I mean just thinking about him having to throw himself to the ground repeatedly for 10 to 16 hours for more than one day to get all the scenes just breaks me. I wanna hug him so bad!

Even though Chuck wasn't on Scorch Trials I *LOVE* Wes for standing up for Dylan. That guy knew Dylan was already feeling too bad for giving away the spoiler and he just jokes about it. Everyone was laughing but Will wasn't and Wes stood up for him. I'm so hope they didn't yell at him after this. But I'm sure they didn't. Wes was so nice and thanks for making my baby Dyl feel less bad.

i love these books so much but i dont think i would ever be able to watch death cure because i know its going to be too emotionally traumatizing for me, i get so attatched to both the characters and the actors that when something bad happens i cant handle it. Those who have read the book probably know which bit im talking about in death cure with the 'crank', but no spoilers, when i read it i couldnt pick up the book without crying for a good week

At around 11:09 when James said he was in the film, its the scene at the end where Chancellor Page walks to the front of the table and says something like "The Maze Trials were a complete success, now its time for phase two" ... Something like that. He is the man at the far end on the left !! Look for him when you see the film or the next time you see the film!! I noticed it the other day and was like OMGG!!! ITS JAMES DASHNER!! :'D

I don't think Dylan look sad or something like that, I think it was a little nervous because the pressure of the fact that his movie it's about a book, a Best-Seller, and I mean everything it's different when you're not around your comfortable zone you know of course he's totally other person when he is with the Teen Wolf panel because they have been friends for years (especially with his beast T Posey) and that's why he looks different! It's not big deal. By the way, I love Will and Dylan bromance haha.

I'm surprised to read some coment about how miserable or sad Dylan looks at this panel...I think he is just exhausted like often and even if he was in top shape It can happen that he's just neutral (ok not so much in his case but still) .
And I don't think he is more happier with another cast... it's a little hush to say that (I'm not looking for a fight here, I understand that you just noticed Dylan sleepy state) Every relationship is different and I think it's It's like when people in the room during comic con asks who is the better kisser when some couple are involved or what cast do you like the most... It's just awkward to read that he is not happy wer'e not in his mind and it's not because in all this interviews he has been joking around all the time that he can't be neutral and normal and be happy like a normal person he's a human being and I'm not refering to the spoiler things because I feel bad for him that is so tired and so uncomfortable with his spoiler mistake

The scorch trails is my favourite of the books and I really can't wait to see what they do with it , what the cranks will look like, how the sun flares (lightning storms) will be and I really , really can't wait to see who is cast as brenda, since her and newt are my favourite characters. I also can't wait to see the relationships between thomas and brenda and thomas and newt grow

I read The Maze Runner in late 2013 and i was soooo hooked into that book i wondered what a full length feature film would look like. Soon enough, i went online to check it it out and of course there is going to be a movie. Idk if anyone else has this weird feeling, but whenever i want something to happen, or i think of an idea in my head; somehow that idea is coming to life from other peoples ideas. its kinda hard to explain and i think i sound stupid, but this shit has been happening to me since like second grade.

Give me some real panel. Not some halfassed panel where you have so little time with 3 cast members and you completely forget about the rest of tje cast. Teresa is barely in the movie. What about Newt, Alby? Even Chuck had more screen time. This was an excuse for a panel. So disappointed.
