Thank you for reminding me to definitely sample Sora Dora perfumes…. They are too expensive to blind buy, but I’m super curious about a handful of them. 😁 Same with Mind Games…. Those are expensive enough that I don’t even want to try them (for fear of loving them 😅).

My top buy of the year is Commodity Milk Bold- so many popular others didnt work on my skin (sugar leather, delina rosee, mojave ghost, gris charnel, cassili by pdm) Commodity is a marshmallow dream on me, with a rich decadent note of cashmere. Very pleased I finally found something for winter which I enjoy. I thought my tastes would expand but the opposite occurred! I am pickier than ever.
I smelled happy dust and while I was very excited to test it, all I smell is just a very basic vanilla and like you mentioned, it wears very light. I’m so glad I didn’t blind buy this. Same with Jany, thought I would love it..blind bought it and immediately put it up for sale lol.Didn’t smell perfumey enough for me

Wow Jany is so beautiful to me! I was about to blind buy Caramel Oud but now I’m not so sure. I already have Oud Satin Mood so if the dry down smells similar I’ll probably pass-I only wear Oud on special occasions.
Aurum is nice the only one I’ve tried from that house. The honey is the best honey I’ve smelled along with Zoologist Bee. I also tried Jany & feel the same I am getting a candle type scent from it. Apple is hard to nail in perfumery I feel many times it comes across as a candle smell much like Jousset Tarte Tatin.
I got like hardly any carmel in mula mula double carmel.just less oud in it.i really love the chronic rouge extreme. A great gourmand for summer,spring and fall.😊❤

I just ordered a discovery kit from sora Dora with 9 fragrances so we will see about Jany. Thank you for your honest reviews. Each individual skin chemistry makes each fragrance different that is why I learn to always sample. I blind bought several expensive fragrances and regretted it and now I never do that.

That’s too funny I thought the same thing about Mula Mula double carnal I have La Capital and I thought I was the only one that thought Mula Mula smelled so similar to La Capital and double carnal doesn’t smell much different from Mula Mula .. I was disappointed in double carnal as well … I totally agree with you.. thank god I just bought a decant lol!!!
I like Mula Mula original, but got disappointed by Double Caramel. In Happy Dust, I get a juice, mango juice, but it turns into such a beautiful and delicious vanilla with sweet and yummy matcha, and it lasts me 8-10 hours on clothes till I wash it. I will try the others mentioned by you in the video for sure.

Happy Christmas 🎄 I love niche perfumes and I learnt that their quality ( ingrendients ) and their lasting " power" are two different things ... but when you buy a niche/ pricey one that has gourmand / oriental notes ,it makes me kind of angry if it does not project / last for at least 6-7 hours . I'm kind of the opposite of you in that I love mango but most mango scents come off to feminine on me. Mango kiss is the only one that's wearable. Hopefully, Happy Dust will break that trend when I test it. I'm wondering if Narcotica made it light on purpose because they intended it originally to be a summer fragrance? I'm also really interested in testing Arum against the new Baklava fragrance by Gabby. Gonna have to wait though, Christmas was brutal this year on my wallet & my car broke down. I agree with you on Happy Dust. It is so beautiful, but light. I'm going to put it away for a month. I know it'll get stronger with time, just like Dulce Diablo and Oasis did. Le Gourmand smells just like a Reese peanut butter cup. It is the strongest gourmand I have ever experienced, and I am in love! I'm going to buy a full bottle. I blind bought Jany, and I adore it! What a great update on some new fragrances! I've been waiting on a review of Happy Dust because I love Narco Oasis and Dulce Diablo so much. Was so happy that I got a decant of Double Caramel - I was left wondering where is the caramel? I like it, don't love it - pass. I've been searching up and down for a good chocolate that is realistic. I HATED Over the Chocolate Shop and Chocolate Greedy is too powdery. Sounds like Velvet Chocolate might the be one! I blind bought Le Gourmand and I am really enjoying the frangrance. Have a decant of Jany coming now.
Happy Dust smells to me like vanille. I dont smell matcha or mango or coconut . Have tried it once. Can other people share their experience with it please?
Lovely review! Happy Dust does get stronger…so glad I got it. I love Queening, full bottle and one the best blind buys EVER! I never use all caps, never but in a format like this I wanted to emphasis lol I am afraid n Linora because of white flowers. I wants Double Attack and maybe French Defense if the Rose isn’t too prominent I also blind bought Double Caramel, you get the caramel after that OG DNA fades. I am frustrated with that house they found a winning formula and in both of the other ones I have, this being the third they kept that formula throughout. Someone needs to shake it up over there. I also got Velvet Chocolate and Caramel Oud and am “warming” to it. C. Oud first smelled like Listerine. If you struggle w/ chocolate it seems it’s a recurring note that ruins it. I also love Jany, this video is helpful because you don’t like all that I love. So I will watch for entertainment and your dislikes are a buy for me! Happy New Year
At first- 2 times or so- I sprayed Jany, I was a bit let down. Whichever fragrantica review (or reviewer- dont remember) that likened it to a candle got in my head.... But I wasnt getting the pastry part at first- just the baked apples... Besides that, Im not sure what changed, but I am completely obsessed now! Im quite sure it wont be for everybody, but give it another chance! It certainly changed for me.

I agree with the Queening sentiments, I love the fragrance but feel for the price it is not worth the money. If it was even $100 less it’d make it easier to justify the purchase

I tried Jany and didn't like it either. The first 3 minutes of it are beautiful. Then after that there is a cinnamon note that comes out and kills all the other notes on my skin. I was sadly sadly disappointed.
I absolutely love the smell of Happy Dust. My nose is not as sophisticated as yours, lol, so I'm just getting vanilla powdered sugar and matcha. I agree this is a weak performer, I have the 10ml and will let that sit for a while. Will not be purchasing the full bottle if this doesn't get stronger.

Thanks for your very elevated discriptions. I really get a good feel for the fragrances. Personally, I love chocolate and caramel, but in fragrances, they often disappoint me. I think these notes are not for me, although I love to eat them. I don't want to smell like literal chocolate . So I will be better off just to stop trying. I also don't love cheery, nutty or honey notes, so they are easy passes. I am very interested in Happy dust though. Thanks for the video, you are so helpful with your discriptions.

I was also considering blind buying Le Gourmand but after your review I’m definitely not interested, the strong chocolate puts me off. Love your honest opinions Jackie! The doughy facet of Jany does dissipate after 20 mins on my skin. However, Jany doesn't project on me although everyone says it has great performance...I highly suggested to check out Jousset Spicy Pumpkin and marshmallow!
I want to love Happy Dust, the matcha is a bit much for me. The green note is strong initially.The drown down is amazing, though. I may get a travel size and test it more.
I got a 10 ml sample of happy dust and on me I get yummy matcha tea and lots of vanilla.didnt really get the mango.on me this scent lasted and I smelled it for a good 5 -6 hrs.maybye my sample I got had been sitting awile not sure.but I'm happy with the performance. Love this,I like this better than princess as far as the matcha vibe goes.i also got a creamy sandalwood with a hint of coconut.but yes alot of vanilla happening in this perfume.
I definitely felt the same way about double caramel, or barely there caramel, lol… It certainly, to my nose didn’t have a double dose of caramel. It smells good but didn’t meet my expectations… I ordered le gourmand and have sampled it and love it, but I love chocolate scents #yourgourmandguru

Thank you for the great insights on these new perfumes. Would love if you could circle back in a future video on how the longevity and projection of Happy Dust have changed or not changed. I have a bottle saved in a cart but am waiting to pull the trigger. Also, if you can try Sissa from Mind Games, I recommend that one. It has lovely notes of toasted sesame seeds and Tonka bean, jasmine, and vanilla. A favorite discovery of mine for 2023. Happy holidays!

Theodoros Kalotinis perfumes are so literal and on top of that they have nuclear performance so you can’t get rid of it 😭. I would only wear the vanilla from that line but I think it’s because the patchouli in it works so well in it for me.
Happy dust leaves my skin and it is very Light on my skin. Performance was not the best. It’s a light purfume that did not have alot of matcha tea on my skin. More lemon 🍋 to my nose. I do love the tea note tho…Reminded me of a lighter bake… I hope it gets better.

I got Happy Dust too and feel the same it fades off me really fast I don’t get the tropical notes it’s basically a smooth vanilla with the tea touches in the background I enjoy it but Dulce Diablo is def a better performer!

I loved that you reviewed all the newbies. I’ve been wanting to try Happy Dust. Hopefully it’ll get stronger with time for you. I tried Jany a month ago and didn’t like it. I smelled like a cinnamon apple candle and wished the baked goods opening would have stayed. The performance was bad too. Buuuuut for some reason I decided to revisit it and now it smells like a baked apple with a touch of cinnamon on me. So now I need it 🤪 Still don’t get the dough portion but I like it anyways.
I had the same thing you had with mind games Lionora with Amorous Intense! 🙈 I didnt care for Mula Mula I fell out of love with La Capitale so mula mula was a definite no. I was interested in le Gourmand it sounds good if it isn't synthetic smelling. Velvet chocolate smelled like chocolate and celery im not a big chocolate perfume lover. I smelled Jany it smells like a candle and a cheep grocery store apple pie i was also very disappointed 🥺

Merry Christmas! I find them to be very different. The honey in Miel Extase is not animalic like in aurum. Aurum has a lot of cinnamon and nuttiness while ME is dried fruits, apricots and boozy. Both very delicious. I love them both but very different. Hope that helps!

I'm kind of the opposite of you in that I love mango but most mango scents come off to feminine on me. Mango kiss is the only one that's wearable. Hopefully, Happy Dust will break that trend when I test it. I'm wondering if Narcotica made it light on purpose because they intended it originally to be a summer fragrance? I'm also really interested in testing Arum against the new Baklava fragrance by Gabby. Gonna have to wait though, Christmas was brutal this year on my wallet & my car broke down. I agree with you on Happy Dust. It is so beautiful, but light. I'm going to put it away for a month. I know it'll get stronger with time, just like Dulce Diablo and Oasis did. Le Gourmand smells just like a Reese peanut butter cup. It is the strongest gourmand I have ever experienced, and I am in love! I'm going to buy a full bottle. I blind bought Jany, and I adore it! It's intoxicating! Mula mula double caramel is gorgeous. I may wait to buy it. So many delicious gourmands, so little time! Merry Christmas ❤

Had the same reaction with Jany and Le Gourmoand! I was so disappointed and surprised with all the hype! It doesn't at all smell how I imagined it would be based on everyone's description.

What a great update on some new fragrances! I've been waiting on a review of Happy Dust because I love Narco Oasis and Dulce Diablo so much. Was so happy that I got a decant of Double Caramel - I was left wondering where is the caramel? I like it, don't love it - pass. I've been searching up and down for a good chocolate that is realistic. I HATED Over the Chocolate Shop and Chocolate Greedy is too powdery. Sounds like Velvet Chocolate might the be one! I blind bought Le Gourmand and I am really enjoying the frangrance. Have a decant of Jany coming now.
Happy Dust smells to me like vanille. I dont smell matcha or mango or coconut . Have tried it once. Can other people share their experience with it please?
Lovely review! Happy Dust does get stronger…so glad I got it. I love Queening, full bottle and one the best blind buys EVER! I never use all caps, never but in a format like this I wanted to emphasis lol I am afraid n Linora because of white flowers. I wants Double Attack and maybe French Defense if the Rose isn’t too prominent
I also blind bought Double Caramel, you get the caramel after that OG DNA fades. I am frustrated with that house they found a winning formula and in both of the other ones I have, this being the third they kept that formula throughout. Someone needs to shake it up over there. I also got Velvet Chocolate and Caramel Oud and am “warming” to it. C. Oud first smelled like Listerine. If you struggle w/ chocolate it seems it’s a recurring note that ruins it. I also love Jany, this video is helpful because you don’t like all that I love. So I will watch for entertainment and your dislikes are a buy for me! Happy New Year
At first- 2 times or so- I sprayed Jany, I was a bit let down. Whichever fragrantica review (or reviewer- dont remember) that likened it to a candle got in my head.... But I wasnt getting the pastry part at first- just the baked apples... Besides that, Im not sure what changed, but I am completely obsessed now! Im quite sure it wont be for everybody, but give it another chance! It certainly changed for me.
I definitely want to revisit it!

I agree with the Queening sentiments, I love the fragrance but feel for the price it is not worth the money. If it was even $100 less it’d make it easier to justify the purchase
Can u spray clothes instead of.skin? To avoid thr bad smell change. They say it makes it last longer that way too I thought

I tried Jany and didn't like it either. The first 3 minutes of it are beautiful. Then after that there is a cinnamon note that comes out and kills all the other notes on my skin. I was sadly sadly disappointed.
I absolutely love the smell of Happy Dust. My nose is not as sophisticated as yours, lol, so I'm just getting vanilla powdered sugar and matcha. I agree this is a weak performer, I have the 10ml and will let that sit for a while. Will not be purchasing the full bottle if this doesn't get stronger.

Personally, I love chocolate and caramel, but in fragrances, they often disappoint me. I think these notes are not for me, although I love to eat them. I don't want to smell like literal chocolate . So I will be better off just to stop trying.
I also don't love cheery, nutty or honey notes, so they are easy passes. I am very interested in Happy dust though.

Jackie I’m surprised with your thoughts on Jany. It was a blind buy for me and I am so besotted. To me it is a delicious photorealistic tarte tartin, drizzled with caramel😋. I love it. I was also considering blind buying Le Gourmand but after your review I’m definitely not interested, the strong chocolate puts me off. Love your honest opinions Jackie! The doughy facet of Jany does dissipate after 20 mins on my skin. However, Jany doesn't project on me although everyone says it has great performance...I highly suggested to check out Jousset Spicy Pumpkin and marshmallow!

I want to love Happy Dust, the matcha is a bit much for me. The green note is strong initially.The drown down is amazing, though. I may get a travel size and test it more.

I got a 10 ml sample of happy dust and on me I get yummy matcha tea and lots of vanilla.didnt really get the mango.on me this scent lasted and I smelled it for a good 5 -6 hrs.maybye my sample I got had been sitting awile not sure.but I'm happy with the performance. Love this,I like this better than princess as far as the matcha vibe goes.i also got a creamy sandalwood with a hint of coconut.but yes alot of vanilla happening in this perfume.

I definitely felt the same way about double caramel, or barely there caramel, lol… It certainly, to my nose didn’t have a double dose of caramel. It smells good but didn’t meet my expectations… I ordered le gourmand and have sampled it and love it, but I love chocolate scents #yourgourmandguru
Thank you for an honest video! I liked Mula Mula DC because of the raspberry note, but not enough to buy it. Have you smelled the Byron chronic red one? I want more of that raspberry. I have smelled the chronic and the extreme… all very good but idk I just don’t absolutely love them. I do like rouge extreme a lot.

Thank you for the great insights on these new perfumes. Would love if you could circle back in a future video on how the longevity and projection of Happy Dust have changed or not changed. I have a bottle saved in a cart but am waiting to pull the trigger.
Also, if you can try Sissa from Mind Games, I recommend that one. It has lovely notes of toasted sesame seeds and Tonka bean, jasmine, and vanilla. A favorite discovery of mine for 2023. Happy holidays!

My Happy Dust is strong initially for the first hour, then it calms down on my skin & I get about 6 hours of moderate wear/performance. I’m hoping it gets stronger because it is DELICIOUS

Theodoros Kalotinis perfumes are so literal and on top of that they have nuclear performance so you can’t get rid of it 😭. I would only wear the vanilla from that line but I think it’s because the patchouli in it works so well in it for me.
The line is perfect though for people with performance issues, who love foodie fragrances.

Light on my skin. Performance was not the best. It’s a light purfume that did not have alot of matcha tea on my skin. More lemon 🍋 to my nose. I do love the tea note tho…Reminded me of a lighter bake… I hope it gets better.

I tried Jany a month ago and didn’t like it. I smelled like a cinnamon apple candle and wished the baked goods opening would have stayed. The performance was bad too. Buuuuut for some reason I decided to revisit it and now it smells like a baked apple with a touch of cinnamon on me. So now I need it 🤪 Still don’t get the dough portion but I like it anyways.
Maybe I will need to retry Jany in a month or so. I was expecting to love it.

If you spray Mula Mula next to Dbl caramel, you’ll see how much more caramel is in there. It’s too much for me.

sounds good if it isn't synthetic smelling. Velvet chocolate smelled like chocolate and celery im not a big chocolate perfume lover. I smelled Jany it smells like a candle and a cheep grocery store apple pie i was also very disappointed 🥺

Merry Christmas! I find them to be very different. The honey in Miel Extase is not animalic like in aurum. Aurum has a lot of cinnamon and nuttiness while ME is dried fruits, apricots and boozy. Both very delicious. I love them both but very different. Hope that helps!
