This was heaven to watch. Thank you so much for posting. I love to see dancers in the studio and to be able to see Sergei in the studio is just such a treat. Really really loved it.

This is a world so far apart from my perception. I can only say that I'm in awe. This is the highest form of body art. Ksenia Ryshkova is beyond talented and the choreographer must be a very smart woman.
Was it really so difficult for the cameraman to properly follow Sergei?
Osiel Gouneo is a STUNNING dancer. even at barre just brilliant to watch.

Gaads... is that a cement floor underneath? As a former pro dancer I cringe when I see dancers work on hard non-spring loaded floors. I had 2 hip replacements
No. Impossible. I have never seen concrete ballet floors in my life.
Even in the smallest dance schools they build swinging wooden floors over the concrete.
I can't imagine it is different in the training halls of the Staatsballet.
How do you see it ?
