I don't "hate god". Saying I hate god is the equivalent of stating I hate mickey mouse or mermaids. There is no evidence for any of them, so hating them would be absurd. I don't like the indoctrination of children through fabricated stories. This is selling an absurd creation myth to vulnerable minds. I find this abhorrent.
Two of the most potent forms of cognitive bias in human beings, especially the religious type, are: *Appeal to Authority* and *Confirmation Bias.*
*Appeal to Authority* comes in the form of believing what the Bible says, simply because it's "The word of God". The information in the book is accepted not based upon any objective qualities, but simply for the fact that it's an authority that must not be questioned and always accepted. Any information in the Bible (a book like any other) must be questioned, not blindly believed as truth, for one to recognise how reality really works.
*Confirmation Bias* comes in the form of perpetually referencing quotes from the Bible to see whether they line up with things that are happening in reality, while ignoring other sources of information. The human brain has an incredible capacity for pattern-finding so it's very easy to find false cause/effect relationships when also rejecting information that doesn't correspond to one's current world view. This is no doubt the main reason why Creationists exist in the first place and will persist into the future. They confirm their theories by selectively choosing which information to accept and which to reject.
We live in the 21st century where we have access to an enormous amount of information on the Internet - knowledge that has been created by billions of people, spending trillions of hours learning about existence. Scientific knowledge and understanding has much greater predictive capability than a single book (Bible). This is freely accessible on the Internet. The Internet is the great equaliser of knowledge and comprehension and the reason so many people are leaving religion.
^ This is why I don't follow any religion, yet I'm not "a-theist" (against theism). I don't mind at all if people follow a religion, so long as I've had the opportunity to explain some things that they may not have been taught. As long as I've given them some useful information about cognitive biases they suffer from, if they choose religion over rationality, then fair game. It's a free world.

David Maxwell I was diagnosed with an incurable deadly condition, but after I started going to church, I was miraculously healed instantly. The doctors were absolutely astonished! I gave all the credit to God. I'm sorry you're having a hard time with believing. I promise that there is more to life than living without a purpose. Science wants you to believe that our existence is meaningless because we are all "accidental," but God says we are made in His image, and we have incredible gifts of creativity and humanistic intelligence. I also cannot fathom how such a diverse and complex universe can exist without a Creator. Nature has many things that would be hard to explain using the theory of accidental realism. It would be hard to explain nutrition, photosynthesis, DNA coding, the distance from the sun to earth and temperatures that sustain life, the right amount of air in our ecosystem, and the right amount of oxygen in water for organisms to survive. It seems to me that everything was put into spin when God said, "Let there be light." It's really a fathomable believe we have. I've experienced many things that cannot be explained.

They did an amazing job on this film. Voddie's voice stands out so strong and graceful as he reads Genesis Chapter 1. I read along with him sometimes.
I'm ashamed to say I didn't understand creation. It took me watching this film to truly see how creation began. Even though I believed Jesus Christ died for our sins I didn't understand the creation part. Now I understand.
I read the first Chapter of the Bible so many times now. I'm full of Joy, Love and Thankfulness toward GOD.

Im creationist but come on, you got to admit this film dropped the ball. It could have systematically dismantled evolution but it didn't. It jumped straight to "Jesus" because the producers are religious people not scientists. They found it easier to understand Ray Comfort than some real scientists. This movie/documentary is amazing and a great teaching for new believers and non-believers too. Revealing the truth, the science of creation and proof of the existence of there being a creator. Definitely worth watching👍

Yes! That is just it! Evolution does not eliminate the possibility of God, because the exsistance of God is unfalsifiable. Nothing can disprove God's exsistence.
Evolution is simply a way of explaining the exsistence of the wild variety of creatures on this earth without invoking the need for a divine creator. Evolution is merely proposing the _possibility_ that we just happened. In fact you could even postulate that God himself created evolution! And therefore _both_ could exsist!
But again this would be making an unfalsifible statement. You cannot prove to me that there is a God and no evolution, or evolution and no God, or both, or even neither!
The real answer is that we simply *do not know*. God is our best guess from religion, and evolution is our best guess from science. To act like you have some divine knowledge of how the universe was created, and then force it on everyone else, saying they have all been duped, is a terrible way to treat your fellow humans.
I repeat *Nobody knows*. The Greeks didn't know. The Egyptians didn't know. The Isrealites didn't know. I don't know. You don't know. The best we can hope to do is hazard a guess, and evolution is our best guess.
It feels nice to know there is a benevolent creator watching over us, but that does not imply that one exsists.

This couple hated the christian religion and would not take their children to church or any christian place place and alway's told their children religion was a lie and they should not believe in lies. The couple hated their children going to school and getting lessons on religion and believed it was wrong that the schools were forcing religion on their children. The children eventually grew up and one day told their parents they had become christians. That couple were stunned confused and furious. The children turned and looked their parents and said Religion was not forced upon us we never learned about religion because your athiesm forced us into not believing but since we are free and have moved away we are now free to make our own choice on whether religion is real. Stop forcing your athiesm on to children and let them learn about religion and decide on their own!!! 🙂

Interesting comment. While I can't speak as to the motives of other atheists as I don't know them well enough to speak on their behalf I can speak for myself. I don't believe in any god because religion as a whole is the intentful suspension of critical thinking. If you believe in the bible you can say the universe is only 6,000 years old but it doesn't erase the fact astronomers can observe objects well in excess of one million light years away. If the universe were only 6,000 years old one would arrive at the logical conclusion we could only observe objects in space at a maximum distance of 6,000 light years. That isn't the case. Prove a god exists and I will happily say he exists, which is why I want to watch this video. Not because I am lost, but because I genuinely want to view this debatable subject from the opposing sides view and judge their finding as a form of peer review. That's how science works, you view the claims and findings of others to judge if it is conclusive. I can safely assume as you are commenting here that you are a believer in the bible. James 4:6 "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble". Tell me, how are you being humble by judging people whom you don't even know by saying "deep down inside you are lost and there's something missing!" I'm curious, by what standard are you making such a judgment? How do you know people you've never meet well enough to say they are lost? Or maybe the Historians who were against Him, but still admitted and wrote about Jesus' miracles like raising people from the dead. I'm going to believe in a Man who can raise people from the dead, and whose seen by many witnesses raise Himself from the dead. You were not there, so it's wise to actually put evidences on both sides to the test, like a courtroom.

Believing in Jesus and what the Bible teaches does not require blind faith. Believing that we came from nothing, bacteria and fish that evolved over billions of years requires a lot of blind faith. Some big ones I would encourage people to fact check are the "young" rings of Saturn, the "missing link", and assuming they're gonna push the universe is 6,000 years old, look up the distance between our Earth and the galaxies billions of light years away. In fact, just that last fact alone disproves the general falsehood this movie is pushing.

Oldest manuscript of scripture ,handwritten by the way , is 2000 yrs old. Fact. More and more atheists scientists and mathematicians are concluding that Jesus really did exist whether man believes it or not..Fact. more and more archaelogical findings are here proving the bible does record accurately the early hebrews crossing the Red Sea. Mt Sinai found in Saudi Arabia where the bible says it ended up. Creationist? You bet. Believer and follower of Jesus? you bet. Evolution is a lie of the devil to separate people from God , period. At no point did I reject the notion of God, you assumed that. Just to address a few things you stated.
I've heard the claim that he rejected his own theory before and I've researched it extensively and only found this claim on the creationist websites, and any additional sources claim it to be a lie put forth by other people after his death. Regardless, him believing his own theory has no bearing on the validity of said theory, I hope you understand that.
Also the oldest book of the Bible is Job, and I believe it was written in about 700 BCE, not sure on that exact date however. But no, it's not 2,000 years old. I also don't know how that lends credibility to your claim. Guess this is just more random information for you then
As for more and more scientists/mathematicians believing in Jesus, I would love to see where you got that statistical information because it would be news to me. But again, it doesn't lend credibility to the validity of this movie's claims.
Archaeological findings, again, I'm not familiar, if you could provide a source I would be more than happy to take a look at it. However I do know that having briefly studied architectural history, I know that it confirms that just civilization is much older than 6000 years old. I could go into more detail but I'll spare you the explanation.

My point in that statement is why believe something written 150 yrs ago vs something written 2000 yrs ago? When I can by Gods grace I comment on certain videos , nothing anyone says here is personal to me, but its personal to Jesus and since He requires me to tell the truth I try my best to do just that. If you are looking for the age of a text for its validity, you should try Hinduism, it's much older than the Bible by about a millennia. I highly doubt you accept the validity of claims based solely on their age. Assuming you don't, you know that line of reasoning does not trump modern scientific discoveries and theories. There's a deeper reason you choose to reject evolution and I project it's because it comes in conflict with the Bible.
Just a small anecdote for you, do with it what you will. They did a short documentary and within this documentary, they asked a number of believers (Christians) about their faith. One man stuck out particularly to me. He said, "If the Bible says that 2+2=5, then I must accept what the Bible says as true, and find a way to make reality fit with that truth." Think on that for a bit. Is something true because the Bible says it is, or is the Bible true because it corresponds with reality? If the second part is true, then you should be able to explore vast amounts of research and be able to independently come to a conclusion parallel to the Bible, without ever referencing the book.
Also side note, I understand where you're coming from preaching or 'sharing God's love', but also try to understand someone in my shoes who's heard all this, it becomes a bit redundant at some point. If you wish to convert me, it's not the right tactic is what I'm saying.

Format is roughly: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, (Discussion: History, Case Studies, Results), Conclusion, Bibliography. It's usually the case studies that hit home.

And I'm not a full on evolutionist (I don't believe in Macroevolution, but I do accept Microevolution as a fact), but come on! If there was any legitimate evidence of humans and dinosaurs coexisting, we would know it by now.
How about spending whatever this film's budget was on, I don't know, the poor and needy? One of Jesus' main teachings was to give to the needy. Heck, if you were gonna make a movie anyway, why not spend time and money on a movie that documents Jesus' life and end with a message on salvation?
Andrew Heaney, I used to believe similar. Where is the evidence for the theory of microevolution? Darwin's finches were proven to not be the same species. Furthermore, as a Christian myself, the Bible says God created everything in 7 days(sun rose and set). Believing it was thousands of years is contrary. This would mean you would have to start picking and choosing what you believe, because in that circumstance, the Bible can be wrong.
2 questions: Why would God not be strong enough to do this? Also, how reliable is carbon dating, from our limited time we've had to observe with our most recent technology?

We are all immortal spiritual beings inside our bodies. When we die, our bodies dissipate, but our spirits live on just depends on where you are going (heaven or hell). So there's definitely a Creator. This spirit gives us our intelligence and character, as how we have been made accordingly in the image and likeness of God, which makes every single one of us unique. But if we are just merely a product of evolution and chance, then I guess there's no point on having an immortal spirit within us and would probably look the same as the others or copies of another just like the apes (which all look the same like other animals). And when we die we end up as nothing into the oblivion. So what's the point of existing if there's nothing beyond death. So I definitely debunked this theory of evolution and it will always remain a theory (a lie) because no facts have ever been founded to support it even if you try to ask the fossils.

roiking2740, I'm afraid that is not true at all. Evolution has been observed many times both in past and present. If you spent time out in the sun consistently enough your skin pigmentation would darken from larger exposure to UV radiation to better withstand it. Is that divine intervention or adaptation to your current surroundings which in turn can be passed down through generations culminating in different ethnicities with differing physical attributes to better fit their geography. AKA evolution. And as for proof if god exists I'm afraid that is the responsibility of those who believe in him not those who don't. Such is the burden of proof. If I told you the moon was made of cheese is it your responsibility to fly up there and eat dirt to prove my claim wrong?
Alan Baraka evolution has NOT been proved. That’s adaptation, you’re still a human being no matter if your skin color changed, you didn’t changed genre or kind. One the example is the bird in some of the Galápagos Islands, they changed the form of their peak overtime due to adaptation to their food and environment but they are still birds with slightly different peaks. Evolution it’s not scientifically proven, there’s absolutely no observable evidence therefore it isn’t scientific
