They should play his comments prior to the lunge which would prove competency.

Unfortunately defendants cannot be cuffed in front of the jury as it could improperly influence them.. they’re not even allowed to know they’re in custody, that’s why they have the be trial dressed, no prison/jail jumpsuits ..they usually fit them with some type of leg brace that sends an electric shock if they try to run

The defence claim that he couldn't obtain a prescription for 60 days sounds off. Most people in need of medication would ask their dr to sort it out rather than let the matter slide for a couple of months. And that happened long before the incident that brought us here.
And if his non-medicated presentation means he doesn't know his thoughts are off base..... how would he know he's off base or understand that he needs the medication that enables him to think clearly enough to know he needs his medication. The meds were newly prescribed and temporary because of temporary jurisdiction.
