Pinn Panelle is an American Alternative/Rocktronica band led by Derek Song (Guitar, vocals, production).
An ambitious non-profit experiment/demonstration - the goal for this video was to perform the music of a multitude of electronic artists and replicate the wide range of their sounds using only live instruments. This medley includes the following tracks in order:

It's been 9 years and this is still one of the sickest vids ive ever seen
I went up through a break up in 2012 when this was about. This was just one of the videos I got obessessed with. 8 years on. I'm married. Own a house. Changed careers. This has served as a time capsule to revisit. I feel sick watching it haha. But yeh. Awesome to see it again.

Dubstep is Dead. no update from them almost three years now
All of them are just totally skilled. I don't even listen to this genre of music but that doesn't matter. As a musician, I can just appreciate the amount of talent and effort that goes into what these guys did here. Fucking awesome.

One of the things I love about these guys is they have a DEEP understanding of their instruments. :D
I remember when I first saw this I was soooo impressed and now years later I'm still impressed by your work. It's a shame that Nathan, Jonah and Justin left the band but I believe in Derek and his goals, he can reach them because he's very talented and you can see when he's performing that he loves doing that. I love this band with the new and the old members and the ones that are coming in the future, and I think that this band is amazing because I've never seen anything like this before. This is my favorite band in the world.

the skrillex part was amazing... what I am impressed tho is the way the bassist made the vocoder bass screams... It is hard to program those inside a daw (bass + some vocals), i can't imagine the setup and skill to do that with a bass guitar, pedalboard AND YOUR VOICE with a mic... just beautiful
