If love to see a new iron jawz box
SHORT!? Thats going in the book.
Unfortunately, the Tuskboss only provides a bonus for re-roll charge to other maw-gruntas which are the big pigs. He doesn't provide a bonus to the standard gore-gruntas. I wish it buffed all other pig units, but it only applies to big pigs.
That's kind of a bummer. I want multiple pig weight classes in my Pork-a-palooza!
@@miniaturesrundown I feel the same way!
If I don't have any Kruelboyz, is the Vanguard Box worth considering?
Not if you can get Dominion (which you probably can)
At the end of the day it comes down to the rule of cool. If you love the models and want to play them then sure, but if you can find the Dominion Box for around the same price then no. Rules change so buy the models you like and think are cool.
What the kruleboyz vanguard box might actually mean is that they are giving each Orruk clans more and more independency and that they could get separated tomes.
At this point, there is a persistante rumour on the network about the disappearance of Bonesplitterz in AoS. The army would be put in The Old World instead.
Also, Ironjawz and Kruleboyz don't have a lot of minis, around 16-17 each, depending on how you count (GW even count endless spell/summoning for example, as we saw in an old article they published during this edition), so they are a bit low in total units, even compared to some of the factions with the least units. But it's not too bad. We could maybe see, in V4, either a book only with Ironjawz and Kruleboyz (and most likely still Big Waaagh), or maybe 2 books, one Ironjawz and one Kruleboyz without Big Waaagh anymore.
For a comparison, GW did change LoTFP to a point where now it is just a flavourless sub-factions with 4 possible daemon units. So, getting rid of Big Waaagh doesn't seem impossible (would be an easy way to balance things), or making it way less appealing and usable.
I like the pig + squig
I love Kruleboyz, I love Ironjawz, I love Grots, I do NOT like Bonesplitterz (mostly because they haven't been updated), and I love Ogors & Gargants. I just wish you guys weren't a couple of complaining powergamer sops...
Hate the kruelboys!!!!! Love the Ironjawz
yarrr... ironjawz for life... say no to skinny orkz...
Damn Skippy
I hate the Bane style masks on Orks
I don't mind them too much, but I agree it does take the metaphorical meaning of Ironjaws and makes a tad more literal.
