- We made it to Kandy in Sri Lanka! After a bus ride from Dambulla, we were leaving the mesmerizing Cultural Triangle to explore the lush, green hills of Central Sri Lanka. First stop: colonial Kandy & the last capital of the ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka.
We will roam the streets exploring the charming colonial-era & Kandyan architecture, walk the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens & visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. We ended our day attending the Kandyan Cultural Dance Show.

Hey, thank you soo much! 🤗🥰 No, they don't seem to be mandatory anymore. We filmed this in 2022, right after tourists were allowed back into the country.
