This thing is actually crazy worth it if you can figure out how to handle the wonky controls. However yesterday after like 20 successful flights / landings I rolled onto a neighbour’s roof. I got it back, and besides a crease on the wing, no damage! I also got the volantex p51 there and it is MUCH NICER but the volantex 400mm are the better starter options. This cheap one tho is really fun but super sensitive and hella worth is as a mess around plane that doesn’t matter if it crashes. Also a great landing trainer that I practice with is the volantex sport cub 500. Super smooth landing and flying. The remote is crap tho so I’d use the one that came with the volantex p51. :) thank for the content! Also for the damage on the box Ali express gave me back 20$.

Thanks for this, I really appreciate it 🙏 Sounds like you're having fun which is what it's all about.
Edited because I responded about the OTHER 500mm plane which is way better than this 400mm copy.

@@bigbristv yeah, of all the planes i have the weight of that one really helps it stay level. That weight also makes the landings much more rough tho so I’d recommend training with ur blue p51. Also sitting while landing is a good idea as well because you can see how low the plane is right when you gotta pull up to level it out.

@@bigbristv also it’s a shame to see those jets on ur newest vid. In my opinion because they’re not stabilized you really gotta watch out for sensitive elevator on takeoffs.

@@bigbristv Actually that is a re-branded TopRC 402mm P-51 which is similar to the excellent 400mm Volantex P-51 but not quite as good. Also I believe that they use the same harder plastic for their pop-off prop adapters that the Volantex V76802 500mm Brushless P-51 uses leading to more breakages than the softer stuff used on the Volantex V761 series planes. You can use the softer prop adapters for this since they all use the same gearbox shaft and propeller. ( You have to put up with the hard stuff for the 500mm brushless Volantex V76802 P-51 to cope with the extra 2s power.)
Also I would STRONGLY advise you to get a decent transmitter with an included spectrum analyser to be able to see what the RF interference level is where you are trying to fly! In that city area it is almost certain to be horrific!
If you get something like the Radiomaster TX16S with a 4-in-1 Multi Module you can throw away the toy transmitters for both those little planes (and a multitude of others including all the Spektrum planes) and have a radio with all the bells and whistles.

Seems like a copy of the Eachine/Volantex P51 400mm planes. But not an exact one, as the plane barely fits the foam packaging, so they made some errors when copying things? It definitely seems to fly worse

I don't have experience with the other brand/model, but this is definitely the best flier I've had in the small-scale range. So much so I bought another one yesterday. Don't ask why 🤫

This 1 is just a re-branded TopRC 402mm P-51, Henk. It's a clone of the Volantex Mini Warbirds V761 P-51 but not quite as good. It uses the V761/TopRC protocol that is now available for Multi Radios. The reason for the plane coming down was bad 2.4ghz interference at that location - nothing to do with any defect in the plane. (Poster mentioned it elsewhere.) For the price, these are reasonable value for a park basher.
If you could have your druthers though, the new brushless 500mm Volantex P-51 is the way to go. 😉😊
