    Man a ton better and I never heard the motor turn off on both landings. Great job.

      Thanks bro. That's because the motor wasn't on both times 😂
      I was practicing coming in against the wind.

    Bounce'd one on for us! Nice ..now that you got the hinge repair down, you could pre-tape them in the future to prevent those tragedies

    LOL I actually just had a very similar experience with my P47 thunderbolt AS3X where i'd crashed it, repaired it, but it was off balance. I then landed it the first time, and absolutely smashed it into the ground and broke it again on the second flight. Good work man, nice landing!

    I am on a similar, learning journey as you are on. I bought the 400mm Nevermiss that you didn't like. I think you should revisit the Nevermiss P51-D. My copy of the plane flys really well. God bless you.

    • @bigbristv
      @bigbristv  2 месяца назад +1

      Perhaps, I gave up on it too soon. Either that or mine was a QC fail. Either way, the 500mm P-51 is BILLION times better! Trust me. Enjoy flying Either way.

    Good landings, that wind was just right to keep the nose up...try to CG level and not nose heavy, you will notice a huge difference in landings, especially on those zero wind days...

    • @bigbristv
      @bigbristv  2 месяца назад

      Thanks! I went a little nose heavy due to the wind. But I think you're right, neutral on no-wind days should make for some sweet scale landings!

    Great idea with the tape bro. It seem like a lot of damage from that crash… do you have some nice grass to fly over? lol. Be better on them less desirable landings😳…

    Nice repair and nice landings!
    And just out of curiosity: How's the status with the F18 (was it?)?
    You know, the one with the broken edf. Did you hear anything from fms?

    • @bigbristv
      @bigbristv  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes, sent them the video, and they sent me a return label for a refund. I'm waiting for them to receive it, so...
      FMS has been really good as far as customer service the few times I've needed it.
