My nose heavy maiden was a day I was glad I had on my brown pants. I decided to fly a gray jet against a grey sky and that was exciting it’s hard to stay oriented on the jet the only indicators at distance are the gear. Like I said to slow down and high alpha pull both sticks down until it gets the right attitude then go about 40% throttle. The cg marks are a recommendation but maybe they used lighter batteries because my batteries have to be full back or it will be nose heavy
There ya go !! I knew it, totally belive in you . Yet Bris , the f-16 landing gear figuration are not very friendly to learn on it, many happy landings to you ! Ps: motion have the best edf’s included the queen of all… the A-10 80mm . Just incredible. Maybe one day , but highly recommended . 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 good job
Dude.... RUclips should give you a special award for being one of the nicest guys on the Internet. I stumbled across your channel via a Typhon Grom video and then binge watched around 30 of your videos yesterday! Your chilled, happy vibe is truly admirable buddy 👍 Really stoked to see you landing this plane. I'm a car guy but about to get into planes myself, and I've learned just as much useful real life first timer info from your other plane videos as I have from the famous big time RC plane youtubers! Smashing through so many of your videos, and then seeing this one, I can really see how your editing skills are coming along as well. Top work buddy. Greetings from the UK 👍
@bigbristv .... and don't forget fella, you can always leave your LIPO checker IN the plane whilst you fly. That's why the alarm noise is so loud. Just click the button to get the voltage setting you want an alert at (for cars I use 3.4) and as soon as any cell momentarily gets down to that, you hear the alarm and know it's time to bring that baby in!
@bigbristv In this hobby we celebrate the small victories when we can. Every time I fly I learn something new that I could have done better. Practice makes persistent.
Don’t worry about stalling the airframe it’s so forgiving if you have any amount of safe altitude it gently drops and can easily be recovered with throttle and elevator. It flies slow well in high alpha maybe 40% throttle and 20-30 percent elevator Steer with rudder on takeoff and landing approach
Nice Job, Bris! She is really tough, how she took the first landing - poor bird 🤣 The Viper would have for sure dropped the wing like crazy, as the jet was way too slow for that angle of attack. Good thing that the Viper handles high alpha as great. You're getting much better, buddy! One could see it on each landing! Get your CG fixed (if really necessary) and consider adding shelf liner to keep your battery in place. 😉👍
I appreciate this man, I really underestimated the distance to the ground, which came outta nowhere BTW 😂 I think a few more times out and I'll have it down. Hopefully. Thanks again!✌️
I find mine flies well with the battery all the way back against the gear steering Also my nose wheel was replaced and it wasn’t straight from the factory no matter how I adjusted it. I just compensate with rudder on the ground and have the rudder trimmed for flight
@@bigbristv it only does that because the battery weight in the nose flexes the fuselage ; if the canopy is held rigid in there it could crack the nose and fuse
@bigbristv ha don't worry, I won't tell anyone. I have to give you a big congrats on the landings were spot on apart from the first Harlem Globe Trotter bouncey landing. You should look into FPV it's an amazing experience and makes flying more enjoyable and easier, especially with a header tracker camera.
Those last two landings were butter. Good Job.
Thank you!
Awesome Bris!!! Very cool, you earned it. Super stoked for you looked great.
Thanks. Working on getting better landings 😄
Wow great job! You’re flying so much better. I just started flying early this year and I really enjoy watching .
Thank you 😊

Yup, I had that graphene batt shoved all the way to the nose gear. 😂
Loving the vibe, energy, and presentation. Keep up the great work, my good sir
Thanks bro! 😁

My boy had a successful maiden!!! Proud of you bro. Find the edf you love and fly it as much as you can back to back! Ull be a pro in no time
That's the plan bro, that's the plan! Thank you!
looks amazing in the air, sounds awesome also 😀👍👍👍😀looks good considering the hard landings 😀😀👍👍
Oops 😬
Nice - congrats on keeping her in one piece!!! Thx for sharing. :)

Thanks Mikey!
Add a little throttle with your downward glide slop and you've got yourself a butter slapper of a landing! Great work man!
Yes, sir 🫡 thank you
Great work that was absolutely a success.
Thanks 🙂
Well done!
Thank you, William!
Congrats !! I got a smile on my face. Happy for you bro
😁👍
Horray. Nice to see some sucess. A good tip. Get some silicon draw/shelf liner to wrap around the battery. This will stop it sliding in flight.
Thanks for the tip! 🙂
Well Done Bro. I said that the f16 was the one to go for. lol.. Now your in the EDF Club.. For sure. Big Thumbs up Brother.👍🏾✌🏾💯
Thank you 😊

@austinrhubarb great idea! Thanks
Great job!!! I can't wait to see where you take this channel. Count me in. God bless
Welcome! And thank you 😊 🙏
Well done my friend!! Jets are fun, right? Can’t wait to see where you go next😳👍
😁
good work always good vibes on your channel
Vibes and bless up! 💯
Looks like your landings are getting better👍
😁
👏👏👏
Airtime and in one piece at the ground, that is f... awesome!🥳
But for landings like this you need suspension like a monstertruck🙂.
🤣🤣🤣
You have come a long way! haha. Congrats and keep having fun like you do always!
Thanks 🙂
Man that's awsome killer plane!
Thanks!
Bris might not be doing it the easy (or cheap) way, but he's learning! Nice one
And how, will 😉😁 Thanks bro!
Way to go bud greased landing I'm proud of you. Keep up the great work 👍
Could have been more greasy, but I'll take what I can get. For now 😁
Thanks

@scoooterp801 yes, indeed.

Got it. Will try this next flight!

When landing or slowing down for high alpha pull back on both sticks then add thrust as needed
👍

Same! Glad to know I'm not bugging 😂
I think you're right
I love how the hatch pops on the hard landings 😂
I have the exact plane and my pilot ejects on hard landings too
My wife said I need to tape it shut 🙄😂
@@bigbristv it only does that because the battery weight in the nose flexes the fuselage ; if the canopy is held rigid in there it could crack the nose and fuse
Yup, I think you're right.
I want to fly some day, but I don't want the learning curve, aka destroying planes😅
😂 Hey, well hey, somebody's got to do it
Best not to risk the expensive one with your EDF flight history 😂 though hss been entertaining, but that flight was good.
🤫😂

I lost a voodoo due to the same reason at Orchard beach and I wasnt happy...lol
What was the reason you lost yours?
Land with a little power and make sure it's not nose heavy...
I'll try that, thanks!
