The FMS F-15 is in stock... bprc.me/FMS_F15 ...or did you mean the EFlite... bprc.me/F15 ... either way, FMS makes them both, only the EFlite comes in the BNF, and different livery with blue winter camo livery.
@@BrianPhillipsRC yeah i have the eflite one. That livery is from the 65th Aggressor Squadron. The real one looks awesome. Hmm I was just on horizon it said backordered I'll check ur link. I meant the fms.
I had the Eflite F-15 which seems to be identical to this one. I added working rudders and it flew great! Right up to the point I accidentally accidentally flew over some trees and never saw the plane again. I looked for weeks to no avail . Was thinking about getting this one to replace it but I already have so many planes 😂 even some bigger jets I still have yet to Maiden.
What a bummer! I hate when that happens! If you ever get around to this F-15 - it's pretty nice, but just don't try to use "pilot fatigue" for thrust reverse ;(
do you have any recommendations on flight simulators? realflight. phoenix rc like those. one that's as close to reality in the physics as you can get. or better question. wich one do you use?
We usually recommend Real Flight - bprc.me/RealFlight ...there have been others over the years, some are better than others, but I'd say Real Flight will give you the most choices of flight experiences, and it's more comprehensive than other sims we've done. It's NOT cheap, and it's NOT a video-game...it's a simulator, so if you want a GAME, you'll be disappointed. There are some great video games out there, and not to take anything away from Real Flight, it's NOT a game (in my opinion).
Hummm, they both make about the same sound, but to be honest, I can't remember the F-18 - I think we did one in 50mm, but not 64mm, so it's possible we haven't yet done it, very sorry about that!!! bprc.me/FMS_F15 bprc.me/F18 - This one sounds WAY better, but it's not even comparable, since it's an 80mm ;)
"Eagle Killing Zone" LOL. Actually I shouldn't laugh. I had a red tail bolt out of our tree line at the field and knock down my SUS. Protecting its nest/territory? The battery and a landing strut came off from the impact. Prop had to be replaced. Nice flying. Awesome filming. Safe landings.
Eagle killing zone - speaks to the tree that killed my F-15 from Eflite a few years ago, and that also just killed out 3M Fox - LOL ;) I couldn't tell from your comment, if you knew, but if you already did, sorry about that ;) Just didn't want you out of the "inside joke"
yeah, the thrust reverse takes a second or so to complete, ONCE at 0% throttle...thus the "pilot fatigue" failure in this case ;(.. Oh well, a little spackel and she'll look and feel brand new!
love it!🎉🎉🎉 Those were sone geourgeoussss landings! even the crash was a good one! I’m sorry, but I am rooting for the eagle killing zone. Awesome flying as always.
My first EDF plane after some high wing prop models and a glider. Not the best choice for that and after some flights it looked like Frankenstein with lots of glue and carbon spars. For a small plane it needs quite some space and indeed the c.g. a little backwards helps the sluggishness on elevator a lot. Still I think some other bigger models I have respond more linear and predictable. The looks are awesome though! I really like how it flares on the landing in your video though, great stuff !
For a plane that's difficult to fly, you sure do make it look GOOOOD up in the air. Maybe that's just amazing camera work, though 😊 Very informative. Awesome video. EDFs terrify me, still. Lol My flight locations are better for STOL high wings. So, I just need to get out of my comfort zone. And take a ride in to the Danger Zone 🎶 😂 👍
Good idea. I just ordered this plane and Ive got an ar630 that was laying around soo I loaded the bnf profile on it. Ive got the eflite version too soo I'll see if there is much difference when I fly it. Slightly bigger motor and different paint are literally the only differences right. Cant see it flying all that different.
Thanks, and as for the mosquito breeding pond, working through civil engineers, which was new to the list of things to worry about, as it'll be required for our grading permit, which is a total joke anyway, but might keep me from getting sued by the federal government some day, so might be worthwhile ;/
The F-15 is okay with wind if you setup Stabilization. If you don't get the REFLEX, make sure you get an AS3X / SAFE equipped Rx, like the AR630/631 or better. We have links to what we used, and share more about this in the Unbox, Build, Radio Setup (in the Playlist for this plane, BTW) Thanks for the quesiton
Just took her out again tonight flying. This F-15 is a fun flying plane, but it's not really a speed demon, but it looks great doing what it does. I bet it's going 60-70 mph tops...down hill under throttle, maybe mid 80's

If you use a 100C pack, it is possible you will see a small increase in speed of delivery of power to the motor...thus a very, VERY slight increase in overall performance. This is to be taken worth a grain of salt, I think the C Ratings are mostly BS, and have more to do with internal protection between cells, and the size of the lead coming from the cells to the discharge lead.

Totally get it. When the wheels are down, it better be landing!!! Great thing about this plane, is that the wheels up, wheels down is so lame, taking them off doesn't really take anything away from the flight. I just really WANT that part of the experience. With Rudders, you can also point the plane down the runway so much easier... I guess, I'm just spoiled with full featured planes! I want flaps, full functioning tailevons, rudders, AND retracts.
