- This shows off all four endings you get depending on how many Treasure Chests you have after beating all four bosses and the final boss, Princess Shokora's form will change depending on the prerequisite and will effect the ending.
Baby Form Princess Shokora - 0 Chests
Wario Form Princess Shokora - Between 1 and 5
Canon Form Princess Shokora - Between 6 and 11
Adult Form Princess Shokora - All 12 Chests

I like to imagine that in the baby ending, this trauma resulted in Wario swearing off treasure hunting forever.
If you lost a treasure in a boss fight, can you replay it to get all three?
I'm not sure if you can, if you lose a chest during the boss you are stuck with that ending, reload the file if you take too long on a boss, Aerodent being that one, you might need to start again if you want the better ending.

I swear, I've played this game A LOT ages ago, but first I didn't know Wario could end his journey on a TRUCK and second I've never seen the first two forms of the princess. Mind blowing how this game still had things to show after 20 years.
The ending journey depends on the difficulty setting you chose when making a new save file. The truck is when you put it on hard mode. And beating hard mode unlocks S Hard mode. And if you beat the game in S Hard mode, you don't unlock anything new but the vehicle in the ending is a different one. I won't spoil it so you can see for yourself, or look it up yourself.
Lore of Wario Land 4 - All Endings momentum 100
My theory is that the devs accidentally switched the third/good and fourth/best endings. The fourth/best ending princess looks weirdly... frumpy? Idk. The third incarnation looks more like a classic cartoon princess and more importantly looks exactly like the princess briefly depicted in the newspaper during the intro. I think the third ending shows her true form and that the fourth ending *should* have been the third one, and that is shows an "okay but not great" outcome.
I personally headcanon this as the third ending being Shokor in her more youthful age, where she was a princess and before she got cursed into the Black Cat by the Golden Diva, and the fourth ending would be her current form, the one she was robbed of, where she's now a propper queen.
I personally think that the third and fourth ending are overall the same form, but the third one is Shokora in her more formal attire, whereas the 4th form is Shokora in her preferred outfit, with makeup and everything, since she trusts Wario well enough to be a bit more informal
You're overthinking it. Nintendo did the same thing in Wario Land 1, too, where the actual canon ending isn't the 100% completion one in which he gets a whole planet to himself, but rather the ending in which he "only" gets a castle. My assumption is, that Nintendo thought only the minority of players would actually put the effort to 100% complete those games and decided to make the average "good ending" the canon one, while the 100% ending is a bonus "special ending" as a neat little extra reward.

I prefer Princess Shokora's true form not being that of a conventional beauty. It falls right in line with the off-kilter character designs of the series, and it characterises Wario quite favourably as well, which I already think this entry does quite well with him assuming the role of a reluctant protagonist

When I beat the game, Wario was driving his car. How do you get him in the truck? Unless that's something that only appears when you beat the game multiple times?
I assume it's maybe what you get for beating hard mode or super hard mode? Personally I like the sweet flashy car better, fits Wario's style better
On normal, he's driving his classic car.
On hard, he's driving a truck.
And on super hard, he drives a flying car.
Remember when these types of videos had good editing instead of stuff like showing the credits four times? That was nice.
Oh i think its because the end credit plays iut differently based on the ending you get. Such as how many flashback illustrations you get and which music plays after the short vocal jingle

Honestly, much as I get why "true" form Shokora is for the best ending, it's pretty much the default for most people. Only at higher difficulties will you realistically miss out on treasures for taking too long vs bosses. They're not that hard and chances are if you're the type to struggle against them you wouldn't have made it too far in the game anyway finding all treasure in each stage.
I had to go out of my way to see all worse endings. Good ending Shokora for being generic cute anime face looks better than "true" Shokora, who doesn't look bad at all and yet here we are.

I'm the only dummy that thought that this means that Wario loved Shokora in the good and best endings, but y'all were right that it does not mean Wario loved Shokora. I wonder why he's smiling at Shokora kissing him on the good and best endings if he does not love her. He only loves money.

It seems to make sense that Wario would fall in love with someone ugly-looking, considering that Wario is supposed to be ugly-looking. Someone did post that it is his mom, but that might be a joke. Isn't Wario a grown-up? If she is supposed to look like his mom, why does she not look old? Maybe, she would look like a young version of his mom, grandma, or aunt, or maybe she looks like his sister or cousin. I guess they did not want to use someone looking like she could be related to Wario by having a similar face. I did read that there was going to be a Wapeach, but she was scrapped. Was this the game she was going to be in? I'm not sure. It could be possible the Wapeach thing was a rumor, because I found it online.
