i normally watch these on my tv but i wanted to comment haha when i saw these cards get announced last year, i fell in LOVE!! i don’t play jp but i knew i wanted to get the full set!! I’ve saved around 95k crystals since new years x) hoping to tier for the first time as well because i love this set so much!! hoping my luck isn’t awful this time around haha (love to see all of these videos because they’re really helpful! thanks!!)
Something to point out cuz u might have missed it: - new year event is a mizuki focus so mizuki is mysterious (70%) (I DON'T MEAN TO SOUND RUDE I AM JUST POINTING OUT DON'T COME FOR MY NECK)
This event having a decently sized pool of usable cards is a breath of fresh air, especially as we are a month away from experiencing the hell that is let your song resonate 😭

I would like to add for those who wish to tier and or be in the winning team, to check out the tiering discords and check witch team they will chose, because even if one team won on jp server doesn't mean it will win on the english server as well. Sometimes you can theorize witch team they will choose (like with the caramel apple in N25's "What Lies Beyond Guiding a Lost Child" because Mafuyu was the lead and Mafiyu is super close to the apple iconography), but it's better to check it out on the discords
The amount of events that the JP option has NOT won is almost nonexistent Plus tiering discords have different philosophies on this as some people pick the opposite team for easier and quicker matchmaking to improve tiering despite knowing they will lose What Lies Beyond Guiding a Lost Child is also a permanent event (bug)?

I saw the translation of the story of this event since I don’t have JP and I think ‘Like Brother Like Sister’ skill might be referencing to how Mizuki brought up how Saki and Tsukasa act like each other since Mizuki met Tsukasa way earlier in the School Festival event before meeting Saki. That’s just my guess

Alright, time for the monthly LIMITED event.....And I will name this "oshi and fan event" (Since it features TWO pairs that are idol fan relationship: Airi & and Saki, Minori & Mizuki) 1. I have watched a few clips of the event, and it seems that this might be a more comedic event than I expected lol...🤣 2. Interesting that they goes for a kind of "American Magazine" style for the cards. And It is interesting yet lazy for them to go for just a "hairstyle swap" between mizuki and saki.......i guess Airi's one is good...? 3. Team Building: Surprising to see a mixed event with actual BALANCE to ALL of the featured characters....😮😮Given how this time, there are actually an ABUNDANT of easy to obtain 3*'s for tiering!! Holy Cow, good for EVERYONE! For Me: Funny how I only got TWO Airi 4*'s (the LEAST out of EVERYONE), and somehow ONE of them is the "Happy Lovely Everyday" that was gotten during my Valentine pulls this year....🤭🤭 Alongside with Stella Saki and TWO Minori 4*'s, I guess I have a good 3 4*'s team....though again, I HATE that "Mysterious Mizuki" was loaded with LIMITED cards except the Kamikou festival one (which is the ONLY ONE that I did NOT get.....😡😡), this hurts so much for the upcoming "2025 New Years" event.....☹☹ 4. Future uses: As stated by others in comments, the 2025 new years event ALSO features a Mizuki 4*'s (You said ut yourself lol....), but it is a featured character so not as valuable...But that doesnt matter for me since my teambuilding for THAT event is alredy VERY BAD, so I will plan to pull nonetheless.....Minori is redundant for me for the wedding set though...(See above)😐😐 5. Limited Re-runs: With only SEVEN events that I did NOT get a on-banner limited 4*'s on, 3 of them are the earliest to come...oh god.....In addition to "Escape the rain" (The 4th event), its just a receipe for disaster.....😭😭😭 6. As with MOST of the limited cards, I WILL pull for this gacha with around 100 pulls....Hopefully I coulg get AT LEAST ONE on-banner to help me out! I have a bit over 200k crystals and I only want Mizuki because they look so cool with that jacket and hairstyle in the 3DMVs. But like...There's both the upcoming 3rd Anni Kanade card and the Eternal Bout An card that have a very cool design, and then there's New Year's Mizuki, and I want the Beach Saki hairstyle. AAAAAAAA. It's the same dilemma I had with Escape The Rain Mizuki, and I ended up ignoring that gacha for my sanity, so I guess the answer is the same this time; Do Not Pull Yet. We will pull... eventually. But not now. 🥲

I started playing during the Raise Your Bow event but I didn't know about the exchange shop and thus didn't have the tokens for Airi. One of god's many little tricks.
Lucky for me, for this event, I can use four 4 star cards that are leveled up a bit. That rarely happens for mixed character events for me. Gonna pass on this event as I do need to save a more gems for a future events I might want to summon on.
I heard, haven't seen it myself yet Can never 100% trust leakers, and I try to only share officially announced information because of respect to Sega and Colorpale as well as being trustworthy and credible with my information But it's always nice when people share information! So thank you for that :D
Having two four-stars and three three-stars is certainly something I'd consider solid as someone who's not quite a year into the game. I was going to pull on this event, but decided to save up more for Our Happy Ending in August and third anniversary in September :)

Hoping to get 1k since airi is my favourite character and her next focus event should be in august next year for us in en. One problem though.... I've got the Happy Lovely Everday Airi card with it at mastery rank 5 but if i get cafe airi I'm not sure if she's more useful or happy lovely everyday airi so i was hoping to know what card would be more usful in this event. ( ´-｀) Been excited for this event ever since i saw airi's card mainly because she looked like natsuki from doki doki. I'm really excited to tier!! (>.
Happy Lovely Everyday Airi should be 65% Bonus no? For her to be stronger than a lvl 60 trained and side story read event Airi, she would need to be 6000 talent stronger, and this is excluding if you decide to make Cafe Rec Airi M1/M2 for the haircut (considering if you have the resources) Like M1 Cafe Airi is 80% bonus!!! So we cannot say for sure until the event releases but keep track of the talent, and just because an option is "more optimal" does not necessarily make it mandatory, if you love the new card more, it will make it happier to play with, who cares if you would gain a small bonus to tokens by playing with an old card? Those tokens are better turned into happiness and joy for the game

I sadly don't have any wish jewels as of right now but if I got a dupe card as well as cafe rec airi then I might consider using her so it really depends on my luck in the gacha. I think my talent is usually around 200k+ and my character rank for airi is 53 so I should be fine (I'm a two year player as of tomorrow) I've also got minori and mizuki at character rank 45 with emu and saki at around 32-36. I'm fully prepared for this event and I'll definitely take care of myself and be sure not to stress over a silly miku game (*^o^)／＼(^-^*)

I have a bit over 200k crystals and I only want Mizuki because they look so cool with that jacket and hairstyle in the 3DMVs. But like...There's both the upcoming 3rd Anni Kanade card and the Eternal Bout An card that have a very cool design, and then there's New Year's Mizuki, and I want the Beach Saki hairstyle. AAAAAAAA.
It's the same dilemma I had with Escape The Rain Mizuki, and I ended up ignoring that gacha for my sanity, so I guess the answer is the same this time; Do Not Pull Yet. We will pull... eventually. But not now. 🥲

One problem though.... I've got the Happy Lovely Everday Airi card with it at mastery rank 5 but if i get cafe airi I'm not sure if she's more useful or happy lovely everyday airi so i was hoping to know what card would be more usful in this event. ( ´-｀)

For her to be stronger than a lvl 60 trained and side story read event Airi, she would need to be 6000 talent stronger, and this is excluding if you decide to make Cafe Rec Airi M1/M2 for the haircut (considering if you have the resources) Like M1 Cafe Airi is 80% bonus!!!
So we cannot say for sure until the event releases but keep track of the talent, and just because an option is "more optimal" does not necessarily make it mandatory, if you love the new card more, it will make it happier to play with, who cares if you would gain a small bonus to tokens by playing with an old card? Those tokens are better turned into happiness and joy for the game

I sadly don't have any wish jewels as of right now but if I got a dupe card as well as cafe rec airi then I might consider using her so it really depends on my luck in the gacha. I think my talent is usually around 200k+ and my character rank for airi is 53 so I should be fine (I'm a two year player as of tomorrow) I've also got minori and mizuki at character rank 45 with emu and saki at around 32-36. I'm fully prepared for this event and I'll definitely take care of myself and be sure not to stress over a silly miku game (*^o^)／＼(^-^*)
