In my Android-based Sony Xperia 1 V I additionally: - I Turned off apps Auto Update in Google Play. - If I have a stable Wi-Fi, I turn on Flight Mode (and turn on wi-fi only) - For EN version I limit the refresh rate to 120hz instead of 240hz
For android devices: Theres another way to show fps without going into developer mode. Perf Z in game plugins also achieves the same thing, while also being smaller in size. You can also minimize it too! I personally have the fps and temp showing so that there's not too much on my screen while also making sure my device runs smoothly. Hope this helps!
With iOS devices if you start having strange lagging both during gameplay and story chapters as well as randomly glitching touch screen in gameplay please check to see if you need an update. I just had this happen last week I thought I was just out of practice but then I actually saw the inputs fail while playing a chart. Sure enough I had the update for iOS 18 available. Fixed everything after I updated. I also noticed if you iPad gets really cold it can also miss inputs. Thanks for mentioning do not disturb mode I completely forgot that was an option and I thought I’d have go into settings to turn notifications on and off each time 😅

Happy early birthday! I think the 5th generation iPad Air (2022) is the best device to get if you have the budget for it. If you have a different budget I can give you some other recommendations as well.
My xiaomi phone has some cool features for the games, it has a boost mode in the game modde settings and also a full performance mode in the system like gaming laptops (probably because is a gaming phone haha) I don't use it much because I normally play with only the 2Dmvs and the performance stays fine but I think it was interesting to mention
I'm not using that, because I always get ads on the built-in game accelerator on my Xiaomi phone, which is very annoying. And there's also a bug, which is that whenever you close floating windows while your game accelerator is enabled, your game will freeze for a second, which then leads to disconnecting in Co-op and random pausing of a show. Also, it makes no difference in performance for me.
honestly i wish this could help reduce my lag lol, i have a really old device and its hard to buy a newer one in order to run pjsk more smoothly. its usually a 50/50 for when it decides to lag or not, and when it does it usually makes my device freeze
@ wrong. On iPhone, even if you use do not disturb and even guided access, you will still receive the notification for the call. There is no way to avoid it, even with do not disturb

Definitely have VSync on! I didn't talk about it in this video because in later updates, this setting will be turned on by default and removed from the options.
did you make sure to try the settings i mentioned in the video? if it still crashes, it could be that the device is starting to struggle with the game.
if you have a samsung device, you can download Good Lock from the Galaxy Store, and install the NavStar plugin. you can create a new layout and add a custom image for the navigation buttons. as for the stickers themselves, there is a website online that allows you to create project sekai stickers with custom text.
I believe the iPhone 11 is a 60hz only device, so keeping it at 60 will be just fine. I don’t have a 60hz device to test this on, but you could always toggle 120 on and see whether you can notice a difference or not. If there isn’t a difference between the two, you can leave it at 60.
Btw JP engine is just bad now, my S20 fe has a Snap 865 which is far better than requirements yet it can only run around 80-98fps on multiplayer(stable 120fps on EN), so i am hoping sega would do something
@kyokosakura3192 thats true but it sucks that the game cant go to 120 even with a strong enough device just due to unoptimized game. Stable fps is far better than fluctuating fps tbh
I have a low end device and I've never found game optimization to be useful. It always result in lower the game performance though with a bit less heat as trade off.
if you can afford an iPad, I would recommend going for that. if you have a budget I can give some recommendations, but something like the 9th Gen iPad can be had for about $200 depending on your region.

@@jamie4825 i will say that back when i was still playing on my samsung tablet, the 120hz definitely looked super nice, but after switching to the ipad, the touch response even on 60hz was already better. i found it quite difficult to go back to my samsung. it's also worth noting that if you want to try other rhythm games, not all of them support 120hz, so in those cases the android device would tend to perform significantly worse.
If you're looking to upgrade I would definitely recommend the S9 considering it's going to get future Android updates and is more powerful. I would only recommend the S7 if you're on an extremely tight budget. It's starting to show its age and it's not going to get any more Android updates.
if you have a 120hz device, power saving can bring the refresh rate down to 60hz, which also makes the touchscreen less responsive. it's good to have it off to make sure your touchscreen is working properly 👍

Seriously, you're the first one I encounter with this same issue. Venom yesterday FC'ed with 20 Greats with a balanced ratio and after update 196 early greats plus a random amount of missed notes. I left Japan server just for this particular issue and it's been delivered to Global as well SMH. Even Sonolus uses the same engine as JP server. I can't download a tablet just for this SEGA.

Some phones has a "No disturb" feature. It stops all banner notifications. My phone has that feature.

My mi pad 6 can't turn off all swipe gestures, causing 3-finger touch on the screen to exit to the home screen.
Maybe try the app pin setting if you can find it in the device settings.
