@@JulieSims-ug8fi • Really? He pays 100% of the revenue from Crown Estates directly to the Treasury every year. He gets 15-20% of that back in the form of the Sovereign Grant which provides for his living and travel expenses, pays for the upkeep and daily running costs of Royal Palaces etc., and pays staff salaries. With the income tax he pays from his personal income, he adds around £400m to the British economy every year. The RF costs the taxpayers around £40m p.a. for their security. This comes out of general taxation because it's provided by the Met. Police. They are therefore self-funding.
The King gives a significant amount of his personal income to charities and projects like wind farms and new eco-friendly towns such as Poundbury. Do you seriously think he needs or wants more money? If so, you're seriously deluded.
By the way, Horseguards is the responsibility of the Ministry of Defence, and is free to visit. Charles doesn't get any money from it, or the museum and small gift shop.

To be fair, the chains are in the wrong spot. If you don't want people under the arches, move the chain to the outside of the arch. Having them 3 feet further in than they should be just causes confusion for the tourists (who due to language barriers may not understand what they are doing wrong) and endless stress for the guards.

Or maybe painted lines on the sidewalk that people should stay behind. I think the horses are magnificent. At least then you could have a picture as a souvenir. Or buy a postcard 😂😂😂

Sie stehen nicht stundenlang, sondern 1Stunde , dann ist Wachwechsel. Besser informieren wäre gut, bevor man kritisiert.

I still think the horses need a different bit. There are other snaffles and even other type bits that I believe would be more comfortable than the ones they're using. Not saying any of them are comfortable for the horse.
