Twist is that the video tape is just from an alt universe and what is "suggested" is merely just someone watching their spouse in a totally different relationship with someone else having sex and they are just getting unreasonably angry and watching an alt version of the spouse. Think Rikc and Morty Universe Goggles but without any sort of context given to what you are seeing.
@@BlackMoonHowls Where does it say this is alt universe stuff? 5379 seems to alter media by replacing it with the secrets the original media conceals, like how processing a fake telephone number used by an SCP cover-up through 5379 replaced it with the SCP file and direct contact numbers with SCP staff.

Props to the Foundation for giving McInnis a job doing something he was already kind of doing in his own spare time instead of just taking the benefits of his research and hitting him with amnestics.
It is relieving to see the Foundation not just be total pricks every once and a while, even if that’s part of the point of the character of the Foundation
i love that he got a job its always something ive secretly wanted, like in Men in Black, the idea that if i stumbed upon something secret like that i could just join them
I mean from a lot of SCPs that's what they do. Tho ig it depends on the canon

Dante?! I mean, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised- working for LCB and dealing with distortions isn't all that far from SCPs to be fair.
I created VKTM, and I just want to say thank you for this excellent intro to the GOI.
I’ve had so so much fun writing these weird stories over the last two years.
I’ve always been aiming for somewhere between unsettling and the uncomfortable laugh, splitting the difference between horror and absurdism. Sometimes shifting from one sentence to the next in tone.
I’ve always refused to explain why VKTM is doing anything, and it’s gotten fairly popular with SCP fans, and I think that’s fascinating because it organically grew out of my desire to write weird creepy but humorous stories that felt very early in the SCP vibe.
Anyway, hilarious usage of the DVD logo! And very fitting

"Little Rock Arkansas: Most sexist town in america" there is something intangibly funny and strange to this one, you did really good. Feels fresh and reminiscent of the simpler times of scp.
These SCPs filled me simultaneously with the feeling of "oh no I don't like this" (which is actually a good feeling that I do like) and "that's a little funny in a fucked up sort of way"
Props on the quality, these are very good, and in my case you definitely struck the feeling you were going for. I look forward to seeing more from VKTM in the future, while of course preserving that sweet sweet obfuscation (the fact that we don't know anything at all about them is fascinating)

These are very interesting! I'm surprised you managed to get them past quality control. Especially the "real reason" one. I kid you not I have met people in this community that are a less... Exaggerated version of that.

17:46 hilarious jab at The Hobbit movies out of nowhere.
dado once hired this group to make ads for him but they kept making horrible things to the point where dado wanted a refund. Later he wanted them to make something for him to sell but he accidentally says vikanders knees so they make him a season of 30 ish episodes that consists entirely of 24 hour footage of Swedish actress Vikander's knees. So dado just sits on them and refuses to distribute it which he can since he has exclusive distribution, likely as a way to get back at them.
Also apparently VKTM has a moose department which dado spoke to but no one else there speaks moose so the complaint filed was illegible

Speaking of cursed media, check out The Magnus Archives. Phenomenal voice acting of first person accounts of anomalies, with an overarching story. As a long-time SCP fan, I loved it.

Man I should say it more often, but you fuckin' rock and I appreciate your videos and the content within them. Thanks to you I have been able to "absorb" anything and everything about SCPs that I could ever want. Frankly before The Exploring Series I hadn't a clue what an SCP was and now I've listened to every one of your videos several times over. I also sincerely appreciate the 40k Lore you've been covering, I had started getting into 40k Lore not to long before you started covering it and I just feel that because of the vast amalgam of a universe that concerns The Foundation and SCPs it made it a smoother transition into the INTENSITY that is The Warhammer 40k universe.
Oh this is just what I needed this morning, I am on my way in to get my teeth drilled... and doing the same tomorrow morning too... and this is the perfect thing to keep me from just bugging until I head out to do that
I only glanced at the screen occasionally, but what I experienced at 58:48 was pure bliss.

These SCP videos are some of the most soothing videos I have watch. BGM/ambience choice fits the theme of the SCP pretty well, even if some of the entries are disturbing (which I have gotten used to).

It's good to know some details on a group of interest, mainly to feel out the vibe and just enough of modus operandi
But mansplaining the lore of a group of interest can (and tends to do) destroy the mystery, horror and intrigue of the faction.
Yes, it's cool we have some knowledge of why and how of Wondertainment, but getting a whole mansplained documentation of them would break the magic and intrigue, wouldn't it?
That's why Dado, VKTM and Department of Abnormalities work so well- you know just enough to scratch the tip of the iceberg, but the dept is never shown to you so you are forced to think
And I love the VKTM addition of "We don't know what we are doing so you don't get to know what we are doing"- quite a Are We Cool Yet way of poking any anomalous research sniffler who would watch these
