What a shame that one of the best songs of all time never got any radio play. "In this life you don't get no next go round". If there is a next go round, I will see you again my sweet girls.
best band ever. seen them past 6 times they played in Manchester. met them outside the Ritz in Manchester this past June/July ( can't quite remember) they are all gentlemen. sat listening to them now at my mum and dad's house in Spain. You know music's good when it makes you feel the same anywhere. God bless them!
these guys sounds like music from the 40's and 50's...no hype just solid talent and showmanship...these guys a nice sunny east coast afternoon with my wife and lil guy out for a cruise...nuttin better
I think anybody that has loved can relate to this song. When I die I want them to play this song at my memorial. Does anybody know when they will be playing again. I would love to see them in person
Yes and once at appy state they had a flat foot dancer on stage.. I was mesmerized They took my bottle of store bought tea, but once the show started everyone else opened their liquor bottles Twas not fair
Bought the dvd.. i guess i followed them the most When willie was gone i wasn't interested nor did i want to know why. It wasn't my business but i sure loved this song
ook so i love ocms, like i dont even want to listen to any other band, but i know like a couple of there songs to play and depsite ocms being awesome i would love to hear a band similar if anyone has any suggestions that would be awesome and one last thing, old crew rock !!!
Who is the guitarist singing lead here? He needs to sing lead more often, wowzers love that voice!! Love this band, just discovered them recently and I'm hooked.
It's a poem a cowboy wrote om a cattle drive or a man sitting jail wondering why or a bunch of women wondering why there getting there kids took cause daddy got jelly
Orgasmic good. Amazing how these guys can take a song written by someone else and make it their own. The shit turned out in Nashville these days pales in comparison to these guys.
i think i've heard this one before... oh, wait, that was called "on the road again" by willie nelson. lyrics are different, but check the melody of the chorus and the instrumentation, you might agree!
well househarr we would probably get along ok even if your description of the weak William Nelson is somewhat confused ..to my ears (and I 'm not young and quite prepared to list ALL my favourite singers) Mr.Nelson voice allways quivers and hovers around notes with a shakey distinct vibrato which is extremely annoying and ugly and I've never enjoyed listening to him...give me Willie Watson, george Jones,Ricky scaggs, jesse Winchester, etc etc.
odd remark from househarr..everyone must know that Willie half Nelson can't sing at all..whereas this guy has a magnificent voice !! the over rated Willie is all annoying vibrato and rarely in tune......and I do wish he would throw that awful guitar with nylon (or elastic band ) strings in the dustbin.
I love this line-up, Ketch & Willie, so beautiful

I'd be hard-pressed to pick a favorite OCMS song, but this may be it.

What happened to willie
His solo album, Folk Singer, came out May 2014.
He's on a solo tour Right now (Sept '14) I think he's in Britain. He puts on a great show - all by himself.
