Without me knowing about this material your useing but knowing about liq nail glue. How long will the mat itself last ? The glue is fused to wood so not come off without pulling wood with it
Hi Chris, no I ordered the stock width that was wider than my trailer. I then cut the entire roll on my miter saw to 2" larger. This made it a lot easier to roll out and do a final trim with a razor blade.
The manufacturer only recommends a floating no adhesive installation if there will not be any heavy objects on the floor for long periods and if the flooring isn't installed wall to wall. The floor will bubble/buckle when not installed with adhesive. In my opinion, if you keep the inside of the trailer temp controlled while using it I do not think you would have any issues
Yes, adhesive is the way to go. Troweling on floor adhesive is the recommended method but my install was faster and cheaper and worked for me. Some people also just let the floor float with no adhesive
Could I use without gluing down?
Yes, it can be used without gluing. It is a very thick and heavy material.

The pvc floor could last up to 25yr
hey man, great video. How well has the floor and adhesive held up? Any regrets/lessons learned with either? Thanks!!
Thanks, over a year later and the floor still looks like the day the I installed it. Good luck on your project!

Hello good evening did you custom order the rubber coin flooring to be 1 piece to install in the trailer? Thanks in advance.

Does it need trim on the edges so it doesn't come off?
No, its glued down but I do install angle aluminum trim later and seal edges to make the edges waterproof for cleaning purposed.
Nice vid…What flooring did you use?

Is adhesive better than nailing it down?
