Spring Day Snowboarding Steamboat Springs
Perfection, I just bought a cargo trailer, and your video helped me to have a better idea. A rough estimate on how much it all cost? Excluding the trailer. Thanks!
What a piece of junk
How much did this cost you ?
Where can I have this installed on my food truck trailer? Do you install privately and or anywhere i can take in Orange county ny
@@rositaestrada4765 I’d contact local RV repair shops. They should be able to install tanks for you. Good luck!
What size trailer is it that you are building?
This was a 6x10 with high roof.
thankyou for this, and the link to the flooring. I just canceled my order at homedepot. their roll is only 17 ft long, at the place you linked to, I am able to get a 20ft roll for only 10 bucks more. AMAZING!!!!!
Did the leak have a brown (grass hopper juice) like color?
No, it was just clear rain water. If yours in brown you most likely have an old leak with rotted wood. Thanks for watching!
@@ShouldBeGood, Thank you.
Amazing build. Do you remember what you used for the trim between the wall panels?
@@charlesgreenwood6181 I used adhesive PVC edge banding to cover my seams. Here’s a link to the product: amzn.to/40g6AXv
what do you use as tools to removed the insulation and felt panels?
No tools needed to remove the insulation panels. Just need to unscrew the thumb screws and they pull out. Sometimes you need to remove additional panels if they are overlapping.
And no way to charge it..
Just open in and charge it 👍🏼
u clip a red to red and a black to black from your battery charger and boom it will do its thing. Very human
Dog in the back just munching on an antler 😂
This is great information!
Thank you. I found this video to be very helpful.
thanks for watching!
Could I use without gluing down?
Yes, it can be used without gluing. It is a very thick and heavy material.
How do you charge the battery when it dies?
@@coreyfuggins2945 just open the box and connect the battery charger 👍🏼
Solar
Would I be able to add a quick connect for charging onto the terminal along with an inverter or are you only allowed one thing connected to the battery terminal at once?
@@CVNTGETENOUGH shouldn’t have any problems adding a quick connect to the battery terminal. I was thinking about adding an exterior charging port to this one but wanted to keep it simple. Thanks for watching!
Whats the braker box brand
It’s GE amzn.to/3VGdUtX
Dont expect too much from that battery. A small power station with an inverter would have almost 30ah battery inside
@@djkacho definitely not, the box has room for a larger battery. I just had this 6ah battery for my ice fishing sonar, so it wasn’t being used in the summer. 👍🏼 thanks for watching!
I’m getting great tips from your content, thank you! Please tell me where can I get the hardware or supplies to build my own as well. Keep up the good work! Thanks again!
Thanks, glad you're enjoying the videos! Here is a link to the connectors on Amazon amzn.to/4gu4n17 I also order supples from Eagle Aluminum. Good luck on your project! 👍🏼
I love this idea! Do you have a full video on this installation?
This is the full install video. I just pulled out the stock vent cap from the inside and screwed on the AC vent adapter, its that easy! Thanks for watching
question: where did you get the floor mat and whats it called?
@@LatinoCity amzn.to/3D0zxyz I also have a detailed video on the floor install
Can you provide a link to the 30a inlet box?
Hi, here’s the link to the box amzn.to/3ZBRUmc All other supply links are also posted in the video description. Thanks for watching!
Just incase next time swap that 90 for a sanitary tee with a clean out.
Great idea! I will definitely have to do that on the next one!
Where did you get the roof mount exhaust fan?

Jake, what size are the black screws? Ty
Hi Onnie, I am not sure on the size, they come with with window. I would guess #8 x 3/4"
Thank you for the info. One screw is missing and I’m not very handy with these things.
@@onnie0821no worries! I’d recommend pulling one out and bringing it with you to the hardware store to match up with one. Good luck on your project and thanks for watching!
@ShouldBeGood, I’m scared to take one out. It might strip the screw. My kind of luck. lol
I pulled one out. Looks like it’s an 8 x 10. I’ll take it to the rv place and get extras.
What did you use to install the concession window counter top ?
I think I used the hardware that came with the counter
Perfect, thank you I like those. we are redoing the inside of cargo trailer for a barbecue food trailer using a similar product instead of ACM. I’m using 6 mm Alumalite® Standard panels over the plywood.
Nice! Alumalite is very similar just has a corrugated core instead of solid. It is way more expansive from my supplier though, about 4x a sheet compared to 3mm Alupoly. Thanks for watching and good luck with your build!
What did you use for screws?
Hi Dan, I used white self tapping lathe screws. Here’s a link amzn.to/3USDQCi
Question for you! I am required to have an air gap between the 3 comp. sink and grey tank. Do you have one? If no, how would you have done this with an air gap? My idea is a floor sink drain but yours looks better.
air gap bottom element minimum 4 inches wide. Grey holding tank external under the trailer, directly under the sinks.
@@laurasullivan6690 This system does not have an air gap. I am definitely no plumber but I have seen restaurants with the air gap system and they put it right above the p-trap. So I would just have an open pipe coming from the last drain going into 4" air gap fitting and then attached to the p-trap and down into the grey tank. I would skip installing the air admittance valve since you will have the air gap. Good luck on your project and thanks for watching!
@@ShouldBeGood thanks so much for your reply! Good luck to you as well
How big is the trailer? 6 x 10?
Yes, 6x10 with high ceiling. I'd go with atleast a 7x12 on my next one.
I wrapped the window opening with home type, flexible window flashing before I sealed and reinstalled the window. I figure that if there was a leak, it would not run down inside the wall. It would either go out or in..
That’s a great idea! They should do that from factory!
Where did you get the window from?

Have you welded before? Im tempted to try this but zero welding experience
@@michaelhurt4490 no, this was my first time welding. I just practiced on the angle iron and adjusted the setting until it looked good. The factory welds on the trailer looked worse than mine so just go for it!
Hello. Where can I buy the panels. I am here in Fort Worth Texas
@@EricStolp there is a Piedmont Plastics in Dallas. Reach out to them for some of their Alupoly 3mm panels 👍🏼 Good luck on your project!
@@ShouldBeGood thank you
Sweet, looks great
Thanks Robert!
how much was each sheet for the walls ?
Nice job bro. My consession is on going.
Great job, I'm thinking of doing a very similar setup. How did you drain the sink?
@@TheKal619 thanks! it’s connected to a standard garden hose fitting on the outside of the camper. I just run a small hose to a bucket or run it under the truck. Some people install a “grey” water container under the sink.
well done SBG...best of luck to you and yours!
Nice job , Which maxmetal did you use and what was the cost of that product, how do you keep the pipes for freezing underneath?
@@CharlieDiloreto-lj6ri standard 3mm, I think it was around $45/sheet. I also used Alupoly 3mm from piedmont plastics. The grey water is drained after every event so it doesn’t have time to freeze. The interior water heater and lines have to be blown out if it’s stored without heat in the winter.
@shouldbegood I see that you are using under the trailer tank and a inside one too .. could you use both under the trailer to leave room inside the trailer? If I buy both for under???
You definitely could, most travel trailers have the fresh, grey, and black tanks underneath. However, installing on the inside makes it easy to check the level and made installation a lot easier. Good luck on your build!
@@ShouldBeGood and I could use 2 black tanks like this one Or fresh water has to be white?
@@francescosorrentino1559 I don’t think so, the fresh water tanks are all this milky white color and are approved for potable water.
@@ShouldBeGood figured.. need too see how to install those under the trailer since they have a different shape …
Thank you for this video! what size is the hole saw bit and brand?
Very Nice! What is the interior height?
6’4” Thanks for watching!
What state do you live in. I see a ventless water heater?
CO
That’s a great idea. I bet it helps with gas mileage.

first off, good job man it looks really good! videos like this really inspire me, im currently building my own food sale trailer out from scratch and im using pretty much everything that was recycled and from what i can find. I want to know how much those wall and ceiling panels were and what their called, what material or supply did you use for the flooring and price if possible. also for the sink and all that may i get a list of what you got and possible a quote of how much they were. and on your electrical work, nice job. what amp will you be running and the prices on the hardware that was used to build it. again appreciate the video. i hope to post my videos and pictures soon when im done with it.
Hi Kirby, thanks for the kind words! I created an entire playlist that has detailed videos for each part of this build with links to all products used. The panels are 3mm ACM Alupoly and were about $45/ea from piedmont plastics when I built this. What pipe did you use for the vent pipe? Thanks
1/2” abs
@@ShouldBeGood Thanks... Unfortunately, I can not find any 1/2 ABS pipe, so I'm going to have to go with PVC or pex pipe. But great video!
@@mikesbackyardbarbecue yeah that should work just the same. Thanks for watching and good luck on your project!
@@ShouldBeGood Quick question. On the 1-1/2 Rubber Tank Grommet - does the PVC drain pipe go past the little rubber lip at the back of the grommet or is the drain pipe supposed to stop at the lip preventing it from going into the tank further? Thanks
@@mikesbackyardbarbecue yes, it is designed to stop the pipe from going in too far
