    I’ve been going back and forth with epoxying the floor or are using the vinyl. I think after watching your video and I’m going to go with the final. Thank you for your video.

    Great video. Im doing a similar project except im doing E tracks though. And I'm using interlocking gym flooring. Since it's thicker I'm hoping it still secures the locking hooks. I may have to cut around it which may not be as appealing to the eye as this.

    So you just painted the walls white? It looks very good. Also what trim did you use for the floors. I just ordered coin flooring and want to trim it to the sides like yours.

    If you put that coin flooring down just using double sided tape instead of troweling adhesive and using a heavy roller you will be sorry later when it start to stretch

      Yea, we pulled that tape off and glued it down the same day.

    Thanks for making this video!!
    It appears like there was flat wood floor trim around the wheel wells? It looks like you just pulled that up so the vinyl flooring would lay flat all the way up to the wheel wells. Am I correct? I ask because I have it all along the walls and around the wheel wells and I was going to pull that up and use trim in the corners just as you have. Any thoughts?
    I have the rubber coin flooring on the way with spread-on adhesive. Hopefully I get a decent result like yours.

    • @Blackhorseturbo
      @Blackhorseturbo  Год назад +1

      Yes, we pulled that trim up. It only left a small gap that the floor could easily cover.

      @@Blackhorseturbo Perfect!! Thanks!! I appreciate the super quick response. It's unbelievable the difference in trailer pricing with a finished floor as opposed to one without which is why I went with one that had a plywood floor. You added a significant amount of value to your trailer when you did that. Looks great IMO!!

    That floor will be slippery when wet. Be careful up the ramp with anything with wet or muddy tires.

      It’s not slippery when wet at all. Maybe you’re thinking of a different material

    How has the light colored vinyl held up to tire marks? I've seen a few complaints that the rubber stains the vinyl and it doesn't come clean.

    I'm in the midst of a very similar project. With regard to the flooring, are you confident that the double-sided tape alone is enough to adhere the flooring securely? Just trying to decide between Glue and Tape. I will also be securing the sides with angled diamond plate where you used aluminum, and will also have e-Track on the floor to tie vehicle wheels. Just looking for opinions.

    • @Blackhorseturbo
      @Blackhorseturbo  3 года назад +2

      I ditched that idea. And sprayed adhesive. Although if I were to do it again, I’d use heavy duty flooring glue.

      @@houstonklassen1549 we used the double side tape made for this stuff. It works fine. By the time you mount everything into the trailer, that floor isn't going anywhere. And if you want to switch it out later on, it's a lot easier than scraping it up from the glue.
