Dual Cheapo Jaguar clusters are one of my favorite counters to a super heavy opener. The targets AA will usually be weak enough that at least one of those clusters will get through and even if it doesnt kill it prevents them from being aggresive with their 1/2 heavy tanks.

Razz, You've got to remember the British Army top brass and government don't think like other nations. Cost of equipment and way of thinking Tactically when it comes to combat are very different almost 'stuck in their ways' and not very flexible.

Japan in general suffers against any deck with heavy armor, because they don't have any better infantry based AT than the Carl Gustaf M2, and their anti-tank planes are bad to nonexistent. So stuck using Chu-Mat's and Superheavies as their only AT options, which, while good, are both glass-cannony and inflexible.
