I have two of this. Put on MRW-200 strap and it looked much better and more durable. You can do almost anything with this watch, best bang for the buck.
I have it. I chose it over the 91W because its got bigger numbers and better back light. It is ideal for people with poor eye sight like myself. great video, brother!
I also bought this watch because I own the f91w.. The w80 is one of the best cheap casio watch & what is amazing that there are so many casio model that are cheap & an upgrade of f91w... Casio is my number 1 brand next to seiko...
I have been wearing this watch for over a month now and I have not been able to take it off! I have other "nicer" watches including the Casio G-SHOCK GWM5610-1 but nothing feels so effortless as the w800. It's just that good. It's my daily driver and I use it for pretty much anything, from alarm (with snooze) to using the chronograph. Only thing I dislike about the watch is how it shows the date as "YY YY MM- DD". For example "20 24 12- 9". So UGLY! But other than that, there is no reason to dislike this watch. It was easy for me to choose this as my beater watch (over the F-91 W) because of the Snooze, Automatic Calendar (2099, unlike corrected to Feb 28 on the F-91 W), 23:59:59 chronograph, Dual Time and BACK LIGHT! I strongly recommend getting this one as a successor to Casio F-91 W (which is still a great watch BTW).
@@SamsWatchReview and this scratch that happened like one week after purchasing W800H is the reason I started looking for a new watch again and got GWM5610
Casio has many production locations, including Thailand and Malaysia, and afaik, currently mostly in China. But sorry. I have no knowledge if they have production in Taiwan or not :)
@@SamsWatchReview would be nice to see a video about this. I'm considering getting a Casio and this model is the one I decided to buy as my first Casio watch.
I love this watch, but I believe it doesn't deserve the "almost a G-Shock" nickname due to the glass not being recessed into the watch. Therefore the glass easily gets scratched, which I personally experienced quickly after buying this watch brand new. The watch that does deserve being called a "almost G-Shock" is good old DW-290
Thank you for watching. Yes, the "mission impossible" watch is a very Interesting model with lots of superb features. Would be awesome to get one of it in the future.
@@SamsWatchReview I used to own the DW-290, but unfortunately I lost it somewhere in the Czech mountains during mountain biking. The strap broke. I wanted to buy another one then, but it turned out the DW-290 is very rare and expensive nowadays, especially brand new
@Sam's Watch Review nah, I'm not a watch enthusiast, I stopped looking for DW-290 after I found a brand new legit GWM5610 for roughly 70 USD. This is pretty close to a perfect watch for me. Sets itself up and charges its own battery. I do kind of miss DW-290 though. Who knows what would happen if I accidentally came across a bargain for brand new one somehow...

Thanks for sharing. Yes, most Casio has that usual level of volume, and so far I don't know how to make them beep louder. But anyway, your comment gives me an idea to compare which one is the most silent and which one is the loudest. Have a great day :)
Kinda hard not to like the line, but any one having luck with screen protection? Or rather ones that have been dependable. Thanks.
Frankly, I don't have any experience with screen protection for this model.
Let me pin your comment so that any other audience can help to reply :)

Great idea, that would make it looks better.

Currently have F108WH, but the strap broke after 4.5 years of wearing it 5 days per week. Probably going to buy this model.
i still have this for 15 years now, changed the strap and the battery still going but no led

It would be better with an amber light, right?
What size strap will fit it? 18mm?
My dad have this watch and now im using it and after 14 years this watch still running tho never change the battery 🗿im so confused
Do not be confused, my Casio friend. Be glad and continue with this great watch.
I have been wearing mine for a year or two now and have never had any issues with scratching the display,
That's awesome, thank you for sharing :)
So do I - after 4 years 😊👍
When I first got this watch I hated it so much that I had to get another same model as a backup in case i loose one. 😄
Ahaha, awesome :D
It can be water resistant 25feet in sea water.
Perhaps the greatest watch per dollar ever made.
It sure is :)
I can only advise you to buy a stronger rubber strap with a metal buckle for them.
Thank you for the advice. Yes, the strap looks a bit thin :D
Can you change the date format on this? Like dd mm yyyy
Unfortunately no

Does it have pre installed countdown timer?
Nope, no countdown timer and also no preset timer.
@@SamsWatchReview
Please review casio ceptor wv59. It covers this deficiency of w800.
I prefer the B640 as a monday to friday watch.
It has a countdown timer that can also set the seconds, instead of just minutes and hours.
There is a hack you can do to add the countdown timer function to it.
This Timer feature is made officially by Casio?
Actually no :)
I want to buy this watch so in India online availability and where to buy
Sorry but I'm not a distributor and I don't live in India. Try to check local market place or Casio India website :)
Which bullbar would you recommend for this watch?
Sorry, I haven't tried any bullbar for this one :)

❤❤❤❤❤
the only downside with this watch is that the strap is about 7 miles long...
Not everyone has tiny wrist like you and/or sometimes you need to wear watch over your clothes.

Nope, Dw 290 or 291 are the closest to G Shock.
Does it have adjustable Countdown timer?
Unfortunately no :(
Can I swim in this watch?
Yes, it's 100M WR :)
pretty sad there's no Timer function..
Yes, I can't understand why Casio deactivate the timer function for this module (we need to desolder one of the contact pin to make the timer active)
