    IMO..one of the best tips to a newbie owner is get a tape measure and measure all cabinets and storage areas, front to back and sideways, write down that info or store it in your phone and carry that info with you at all times because you never know when you will find just the right thing that fits in a place giving you more storage.

    I don’t think you are boring at all. I’m refreshed at how efficient you are with all of the material you include in the videos. In my opinion, you don’t make your videos so sterol that it’s predictable, nor do you fill your videos with so much unnecessary Information which makes the video drawn out. I’ve learned a lot from you and your style of videos.

    Love your videos! I’m about to buy my first class B van but lived on a sailboat in the Caribbean for years back in the ‘80s... now in Breckenridge Colorado so it will be different trying to accomodate cold weather gear in small space!

    Watching the last gal make up the bedding for the night makes me glad we have two single beds . Great video. Remember, when you replace your fridge with a compressor fridge you will get at least an extra cubic foot of fridge space . Yay !

    • @FromShetoMe

      I take it you have a compressor fridge. If so, what brand/model and do you know the energy demand?

    • @stanw909
      @stanw909 5 лет назад

      @@FromShetoMe We haven't replaced ours yet but will be getting the Truck fridge brand direct from truckfridge.com it will fit in our current Fridge's space and give us an extra 1.6 cubic feet of interior space. You and I have discussed this before. I seem to remember it being 3 amps but of course this varies due to how cold you set the fridge and ambient temperatures.

      @@FromShetoMe Here is the model that fits our application - www.truckfridge.com/product/tf130-ac-dc-115-volt-ac-12-volt-dc/

    • @FromShetoMe
      @FromShetoMe  5 лет назад

      The dimensions are pretty close (Dometic is 3" taller) but you get a lot more storage with the TruckFridge. The challenge is finding a capable technician.

    • @stanw909
      @stanw909 5 лет назад

      @@FromShetoMe Notice the truck fridges are on back order until December. I guess people had same trouble as us during summer trips and beat us to the draw. Another plus to the Truck fridge is you may gain a little bit of outside storage behind the fridge. A piece of molding could be found to fill gap or better yet , a vented piece across the top to give it more airflow. The outside vents may need to be covered to keep dirt and dust from blowing in . As for rv service in your area maybe Yelp reviews , Angie's list . A good handyman should be able to handle it.

    I’ve heard you mention the refrigerator. Is it a three way? What is the problem? What does PW say about it and changing the kind they use?

    • @FromShetoMe
      @FromShetoMe  5 лет назад

      Yes, it is a 3-way. We think we have narrowed down the problem to altitude. Apparently, 3 way fridges don't work well above 5500 feet and we spend a fair amount of time above that. Dometic doesn't offer any suggestions for adjusting the gas/air mix so we'll just have to wait for a compressor fridge that will work for us. In the meantime, we will use ice packs when needed.

    Thank you! One thing that has stopped us from buying the class B is parking. Do you park it at home? Is it in your driveway? Do you still have two cars? It doesn’t make sense to us to pay to store it.
