It's almost like the inability to hold women accountable for their criminal actions actually directly encourages further imitation. If we'd shown them that conspiracies are still criminal conduct, instead of offering excuses for their poor choices, there might be a lesson for other women. Let's not pretend that custody of the kids is anything other than leverage over the home and assets. She got told "No." Unthinkable. I thought Florida was jacked up but there has been some crazy cases coming out of Utah. This family must have missed the part where Charlie, Katy and her kids dad are serving life sentences. And the mother will probably do so as well.
