Thanks so much, Rebekah. I'm at the beginning of my reseller journey and this was exactly what I needed. From what I've researched so far, Poshmark & ebay are a good combination. Got my storage in, shipping supplies due tomorrow. Already have a Poshmark account and an unused ebay store, just have to rename both with my chosen store name. Looking forward to sourcing! 💖
Oh my goodness … that was the best “starting reselling” video I’ve seen to date! I so wish I had this when I was starting out. Thank you for continuing to pour I to this community 💗
Hello Rebecca you have inspired me so much that my goal for 2025 is to start my reselling business. I appreciate any and all your advice. I’m beginning my research now I have also created my Poshmark account
This was super helpful! Especially the part about starting an inventory system from the beginning. I would have waited until later in the game and probably have shed a lot of frustrated tears when I couldn't find something! 😅 Thank you, your videos are all super duper great!
PM allows us to change our closet names 2 more times after your original name. Most of my sales on PM have been hard goods to date. I started out with just clothes and it was too slow for me, so I added hard goods (especially since I've been downsizing my large house). Also, no need to buy or pay for thank you cards/stickers/whatever, bc if you have a printer, create a note on a business card-sized template (whole page) and print out a few pages of these. I use colored paper I happen to have to print them on and cut them out in bulk. Every time you sell something, stick/insert one on the item before sealing the package. If you want to add cute stickers to your notes to stick on your items, use any stickers that you receive in the mail, including those charity address labels (cute out your name/address part). If anyone wants to know what I write on these printer notes, let me know and I will add a reply to this comment.
Thank you you’re the best you are inspiring me to do this I’m tired of being mistreated in every job especially for the job I’ve been working 6 years I have depression and was in the hospital know my job is not helping me . Thank you! God bless you today and always ❤️✝️
Really good advice on how to start. As a new reseller myself, the part I still find tricky is how to set the price for items. Maybe you can share your strategy and what works well for you. Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this info. I’m cleaning out my closet and it would be great to make a little $$ rather than donate. I’m sure once I get started, it will be ok, but hopefully this senior citizen can navigate and earn some extra cash. Thanks again and Happy New Year
Any tips for when things slow down. I started a little over a year ago and after a couple of months sales were booming. Summer slow down hit and it picked up slightly until Posh messed with the fees. It's been so slow since...i am getting incredibly low-ball offers when actually getting offers.
I'd love to hear advice on this as well! Cross-listing to ebay has helped me a lot. For some reason I've found I sell about 75% of my items on ebay and 25% on Poshmark, even though I have the exact same things listed on both. Ebay is just way more active for me.
Priority mail generally is a bit pricey, but Poshmark has a deal with USPS that all packages are a flat $7.97, and sellers can use any of the free USPS priority mail packaging to ship it. The buyer pays the shipping so it doesn't come out of your payout. The only exceptions are if you offer the buyer a shipping discount, then you pay for that discount amount. The other (less common) exception is if your package is over 5 lbs, then you have to pay for additional shipping charges. If you are selling an item over 5 lbs it's best to look up on Poshmark's help website how much extra you'll have to pay and factor that into the price.
I bought a white shower liner from Dollar Tree for my flat layout pics.

I'm basically "starting over" with my business and this helped. Thank you!
Thank you for this video. I appreciate how you broke everything down and discussed what you need vs what you don't need right now. Very helpful!!!

Very informative. When would you recommend getting a label printer

Mrs toupin wants to start sell items she will 👀 😊
It is okay if I start with a brand new for eBay or it needs to be an old account?
You can do either way!

A shipping dragon lol
Wait so does Poshmark charge the priority mail against your sale because priority mailings are very expensive
