I am older than you and I lived large during the heyday of bareMinerals back in maybe 2009 (give or take a couple of years). They were extremely successful on QVC. I was not a QVC watcher, but I watched just to see the founder and the host Lisa Robertson present everything bareMinerals. They had incredible chemistry together and could sell me anything. They had these wonderful seasonal kits: full face, all color-coordinated that you would receive each season if you signed up for Auto Delivery. I had a LOT of fun with those kits. Then Leslie (founder) sold the company and disappeared from view. I am still sad about that!! Lisa left QVC. The products are fantastic (I still have many; they say the loose minerals have an unlimited shelf life with no expiration date-the ones with no SPF, of course.) Good times!!! SO many great memories. Thank you for bringing it back!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
I love Bare Minerals! I’m actually reading the founder Leslie’s book right now “Pretty Good Advice” and I’m loving it! So interesting to read how she started BM and that people still love it today!
@@simplyblair How wonderful that you’re reading her book and learning all about it!! I actually saw Leslie live at my Sephora back in the day and had my picture taken right beside her. That day she also gave me one of her iconic oversized rings. I treasure it to this day. She wore those types of rings on QVC and I was mesmerized. I was so honored and so humbled. Great times!!! 🤗🤗 I feel super sad that most people nowadays don’t seem to appreciate the beauty of loose minerals (including eyeshadows, blushes, bronzers, and highlighters). They were IT back then. They blend like a dream; they are different than anything on the market right now. Much better imho, and they last forever. I still have so many that I shouldn’t buy any more makeup ever again!!! (Obviously, that’s not happening 😂.) Thank you again, Blair!!!! 🤗🥰
This is my holy grail, bare minerals I just love it but been enjoying the complexion rescue for the heat it’s also amazing and the powder concealer I enjoy it!! Love this brand

What skincare do you use under this powder foundation?
The Bare Minerals Mineral Veil might be nice for me to use after blush and bronzer to even things out. The eyeshadow palette is tight up my alley since I have green eyes. It looks great for travel as well.
Yes!! I think the Mineral Veil would be great to blend everything together!! And yes, the colors in the Sunlit palette are perfect for green eyes!

Beautiful look Blair, I’m not so crazy about the eyeshadows c the gen nude the shades were satin and idc what Wayne goss or anyone says ,satin eyeshadows on older women’s crease DOES NOT LOOK FLATTERING!!gives ur eyes more texture, therefore sad but true, I do t purchase the shadows from bm, but I do have a few of the loose ones . Now THOSE ARE AMAZING AND LAST ALL DAY! Tfs xo

I used the CeraVe Ultra Lighting Moisturizing Lotion with SPF
