Let me get this straight,,,you are French,,,right? You live in France,,,right? But you have never been to or seen the 24 hours of LeMans I'm ashamed for you. Its one of the greatest race in the world. Drivers and race teams come from all over the planet to race the LeMans. Lets see your reaction to that.
@@harrymontgomery5268 She’s about 23 yo and is from a small town more than 200 miles from LeMans. When you were 23 yo had you attended ALL of the major sporting events in your country? While LeMans is a huge deal in F1 Racing, I’m not even sure if the “average” French citizen considers it to be a “must see/attend” event on their “to do” list.
Robby Gordon, former Nascar driver, developed this craziness. From what I've read, he built 21 trucks and rents them to other drivers for $25,000 a race, or $225,000 a season. Basically this includes everything you need and covers the cost of the wrecks.
You know she's into it when she switches from English to French and has to break out the subtitles lmao. If you love this you should definitely check out trophy trucks racing through the desert.
Cool video Marie. Yes it takes a lot of money to build and race those trucks. That's why they have sponsors to pay for most of it. Love seeing your reactions 😁 thanks for making this video and yes they're trucks
You wanna see something unbelievable watch a video of monster trucks. Seeing them do backward flips and flips forward is crazy. Plus jumping high in the air and crushing cars. Or how about a demolition derby? We have those once a year in my area.
The driver has a harness that holds him in his seat and his helmet has a strap that keeps his head from bouncing around. A lot of safety features to protect them.
They also race in the USA, but the truck races in the video are in Australia. It says ‘Gold Coast, Queensland’ on the signs. They’re in a town called Surfer’s Paradise. It’s great to watch, really exciting racing. I love it.
Baja racing meets road racing. The reason their wheels come of the ground in the corners is because the suspensions are primarily designed to deal with the jumps (without killing the driver). They are not as fast as NASCAR or Formula One, but they add the jumps. Basically they bring the Baja to a Town near you.
NASCAR is very popular in the U.S, but I think most often, NASCAR here involves car races, rather than trucks. The video you reacted to Marie, was from Australia. NASCAR racing is especially popular in the southern part of the USA.
Yes! Checking out some NHRA top fuel & funny car racing and monster truck freestyling should give her a bit of a freak out. Then there are videos on the Saturn V...

Yes Marie -- it is crazy. This Super Truck is only 1 of many different types of racing. They also race trucks similar to these on dirt (Pro4's) in stadiums and out in the dessert. Nascar does race on asphalt. "Dirt Late Model" racing is my kind of thing. I done "Dirt Track" racing for like 10 yrs. It's fun! (Check "Hunt the Front" here on U2be). A tremendous amount of work!

If you look at the trucks, you will see company names painted all over them. They are basically paying for advertising, which covers the costs of the vehicles and the repairs, plus how the driver finishes and the money he makes. I am a 60 year d American and this is the first I have seen one of these races. They do have truck races which is like nascar. No flying and bouncing around. Basically a race car on a small truck frame and setting really low to the ground.
yeah there are a ton of different truck/car/bike races to check out that are a North American thing Nascar, Nascar truck series, Stadium trucks (usually race on dirt), drag racing, mud bogging, swamp racing, tractor/truck pulls, sand drags, snow mobile drags and track racing, Boat drags and other forms of boat racing, plane races the list goes on and on, as you will discover if it has a engine someone will find a way to race it
Marie, watch "Dust to Glory." It is the greatest *nonfiction* motor racing movie ever! Trophy trucks, sand rails, Baja Bugs, and the bikes of course. Every time I watch it I want to ride a dirt bike down a Mexican beach at 110 mph!
Those are truck shapes with body panels that bolt onto the frames. the frames are pipes that are welded together. If you were to look inside the truck you would see the ground. There is a seat a steering wheel and control pedals. a few gauges on the panel in front of the driver. There are two versions of these trucks. (this) One operates on paved surfaces the other one operates on a dirt track with more jumps. in the NASCAR topic there are also two categories Cars and Trucks. They operate at much higher speeds and they dont have as many turns. Then there is the Formula One racing which should be familiar to you since there are european races and tracks
As far as racing goes, this seems to be one of the cheaper sports. Just v8's and tube steel chassis. All the cars are identical and maintained/repaired by the same team. As for the whiplash when jumping, it should be about the same as a roller-coaster. So fun. Not that I recommend landing like Matt Brabham every landing. Also the ramps are part of the race track, however they are allowed to skip the jumps if jumping is unsafe but if they do they cannot pass other drivers.
The trucks are built to take the shock of the jumps when they land flat they really don’t feel much the trucks built for that reason!!! Now when there hitting front 1st there feeling it lol 😂
You'll enjoy NHRA National Hot Rod Association. Brittany Force. 1/4 mile in 5 seconds with a 10,000 horse power. It nuts and this woman dominates. You'll enjoy that.
trucks can reach upwards of 25000$ , jumping and landing doesn't hurt you as the shock of landing is taken up by the suspension. they can reach up to 130 mph on straight lines and 60 -90in corners the engines run on gasoline and can be up to 900 horsepower and run on a special fuel that gives them more horsepower. the tires... they are made to race in the desert so they are designed to be about 10 times stronger than a "normal" tire. no points for jumping as its part of the course. points are for the first 5 positions
You should watch NASCAR videos with the sound off while listening to the classic record "Shut Down". (classic LP from the 60's) Like the record sleeve says.. "You can smell the rubber burn...". The "chicke run" scene from the classic American Film "Rebel without a Cause" illustrates America's obsession with cars going back to the 1950's.
You should check out some, Baja 500 races, down in Mexico. It is mostly 500 miles of dirt race. All kinds of cars, trucks, dune buggies and motorcycles. Crazy race. they jump like that also. Hope you are doing well.
They have what's called suspension travel and the landings are not as bad or rough as they look. They land very softly and just keep going. Very fun to watch, and I can only assume fun to drive.

NASCAR does have truck races just not those. The trucks nascar use are more powerful with a fin on the back to keep the truck down. It’s kinda hard to explain as they don’t look like trucks. It’s under the NASCAR truck series. You can kinda tell they are trucks but different. You can tell the truck frame is there but it’s weird as they are so heavily modified that the original truck look is lost. You just have to look at it.
At the 8:41 mark you think they included ramps so they could cheat turns because obviously they can't corner like a f1 car. Regardless I wouldn't mind checking this out in person. You should also checkout drag racing Marie a video don't do it justice though. With drag racing the closer the better that way you can feel them go down the track as well as watch.
They included ramps as a means of producing the off-road racing experience, and to keep the speed down. They're like vertical chicanes, the ramp is designed with a target speed of 70mph so the trucks must slow down to jump. Without them they'd likely try to pile into a corner at their top speed (140mph) and... not corner.
If we Americans can drive/ride something, it won't be too long till we start racing it. Searching for a video about the history of NASCAR would probably get you started.
If you're interested in American Autoracing, I would suggest watching Emplemon's video covering Dale Earnhardt. It gives you an insight into NASCAR as a sport as well as an insight into one of its greatest drivers.
The people driving aren't rich,,,the owners are, sponsorships pay the bills. Cost of a truck is about 200,000usd,,,fuel is about 37.70 per U.S gallon. So yeah it's very expensive to field a truck for the year, about one million U.S dollars for the year. They always take two to a race so they have a backup.
2 other motor sports you might like check out v8 supercars Australia and the track of Mount panorama that's our version of le mans and check out sprintcar racing those things fly other sports to check out try Australian football league and National rugby's league
Apparently I need a French gf. Bc I'm in love with your accent! As a southern man I usually hear how much ppl love my accent. I've finally found an accent I like! Lol
Hi there Marie 🚦🏆 I've also never seen this crazy sport before , it's definitely for the daredevils out there,I guess I'll be willing to try almost anything dangerous once, how about you maybe as a passenger first to see how its done, it's more exciting to watch then Nascar which is more about strategy , the trucks bouse around but at least they don't have these devastating crashes like Nascar, while watching this the phase 'hell for leather' came to mind. This video was in Australia right but we all know how much they love crashing cars in the American south ,I wonder why that is ?. Anyway who isn't a fan of John Schneider a good ol'e boy who still got what it takes even after all these years. I'll be checking out what orthers have to say like you to discover more and giving them likes. After Nascar maybe your want to take to the skys with high speed Air-racing over various cities. On a final note I didn't know you were takeing suggestions for video's I'll keep in mind for the future. As always thanks for reading , sorry I'm late ,I try to watch your videos as soon as you upload but it's not always possible you know how life is. 🌼 🇬🇧 Friends cross 🌅 🇫🇷

Merci aussi au Comté International Olympique, pour tous qu’ils font pour les athlètes et tous qui aiment les sports, et veulent un esprit de solidarité parmi les nations et les peuples. They're like vertical chicanes, the ramp is designed with a target speed of 70mph so the trucks must slow down to jump. Without them they'd likely try to pile into a corner at their top speed (140mph) and... not corner.
Fun ❕ 👍
Have you considered doing a Saving Private Ryan reaction? I liked your videos exploring D-Day beaches and museums.
React to actual trucks racing!! It's Australian too!
Search Australian Super Truck Nationals
If we Americans can drive/ride something, it won't be too long till we start racing it. Searching for a video about the history of NASCAR would probably get you started.
If you're interested in American Autoracing, I would suggest watching Emplemon's video covering Dale Earnhardt. It gives you an insight into NASCAR as a sport as well as an insight into one of its greatest drivers.
while you're interested in motor sports, try "the women of NHRA" and drag racing
2 other motor sports you might like

A great example of the Laws of Physics!

I'm SO PROUD of the French people! Fight vaccine tyranny!
Being trucks, it's far easier for them to roll over than cars.
