- We reveal a chronology of disturbing events at a police station here in Nairobi, that eventually led to the illegal release of a foreign national in police custody following the payment of a series of bribes.

I once told my friend that, nowadays it’s called ”Pangani business station” rather than Pangani police station. Whoever did this undercover report,may God help you and always keep you safe.
They cone my friend 300.000 shillings two days ago together with the thug called Abdirashid. Thugs all of them. This country is skeleton.

All police officers should go through a genuine background check, psychiatric evaluation, drug test after every 4 moths and a lengthy training.
Salary is just an excuse, because the more they get paid, the more/higher amount of bribe they'll demand.
They should also wear a bodycam, a camera (can never be switched off while on duty) and will records everything, locate them anywhere.
Even if they paid them 1 million they will be doing the same thing

You pay 180k in lieu of spending 2 months,...10k is fine...
10k is fine but imagine the hustle of being deported back to Somalia and regaining entry all over again.
They pay 200k because it will cost almost the same price to come in again. In addition to that, once the courts rule your deportation, they don't specify which date. It means that one has to stay in a cell until they have enough people to be deported with you. It's a fair price for someone who was already convicted, it's a hussle and daring the police to clear such cases.
