  • Hi guys! Thanks for tuning in! This week we're going to get the old 1926 Ford Model T out and sort out a couple of leaks and then we're going to take Miss Frankers for a drive! After that, we're over to Agent 8771's to get the fresh 302 installed in his high-school 1969 Ford Fairlane... High school was a while ago, but I think he's got the car just about sorted now! Then ir's time to re-install the interior in the Citroen D Safari wagon , and a nice set of mags for the brown Renault 5, and finally Tom will be here for a day of hauling heaps around with the Tractor Gnome!
Our 8mm film is back from the developer; I'll be including bits of it in the next several weeks' videos... Hope you enjoy these clips; I cropped them to fit this time. Special thanks to Steve Dean and Niagra Film Labs in Toronto.

On a train between Roanoke and Lynchburg Virginia today, heading up to the Shenandoah Valley, and a guy walking by in the isle saw the CWM Model T shirt I'm wearing, goes "Cold War Motors, hell yeah!" Walks on.
    My wife goes "really?"
I said yeah, we're CWM, were everywhere!😂 Watching the episode now, cheers y'all.

A little pepper in the T radiator would have sealed it right up. I know a couple of old farmers who would use egg white. I love the Fairlane. My earliest childhood memory of our family's cars was my mom's 1960 Chevy wagon. I also remember my parents trading my mom's 1960 Chevy wagon in for a brand new 1963 Baby Blue Rambler Ambassador wagon. My oldest brother actually found my mom's 1963 Rambler wagon and is restoring it right now.

Thank you, Scott, for another week of car-guys nostalgia and general banter. Sure does a guy's heart good to be able to watch and listen in, especially on the beautiful Fairlane and her engine swap with everyone pitching in (just like with the T refreshing for the Summer cruising, everyone kibitzing...). That's one sweet Fairlane for sure. And of course rearranging the yard furniture, tuning up for some epic heart and other innards transplanting and no doubt getting your "car sewing machine" ready to knit together an Impala. Another "mountain" to climb. Until next week, Cheers to all!

Was that the first time Frankers willingly rode in the Model T? Is Frankers in 7th heaven with all these French cars running and licensed? Surprised Andy did not put a 351 in his car, that’s what my brothers 69 Torino squire had. No change in membership status. Best to all agents, you, Frankers, and Tom.

Hi David! Thanks as always for the continued support and enthusiasm for the old show here! I think Andy just wanted to fix up the 302 that he had sitting around and it was as much about sorting a couple of leaks as anything... He has a lot of 2-wheeled machines at the ready if he actually wants to go fast, haha... Cheers from me and Miss Frankers!

Forgot to mention an old trick I learned. When you paint an engine wrap the wiring with aluminum foil, it saves the wire harness colors and is easy to remove.
