I thought about you the other day when we had to have a car towed to the dealer. Our son had lost two sets of keys to it. lol! The dealer charged us $620 for two sets of keys. Robbery!!! Computerized keys cost a fortune, didn't know that until now. Towing was paid by his insurance, so I don't know what that cost was. When we went to pick up the car they tried to charge us $820, but we pitched a fit, as that was not what they quoted, and the manager ended the argument by sticking with the quote. Don't lose you keys! Great video Johnny. I always enjoy seeing you interact with people, as you are always so nice and respectful.
When a relative bought a used 2010 Toyota with only one of those keys he bought a used key on eBay and had a local locksmith program it and copy the real key inside his. I forgot what he paid but it was a lot cheaper than what the Toyota dealer wanted. That was in 2015 and he hasn’t had any problems.
A friend of mine, two of her sons lost the keys and SHE MADE THEM PAY FOR THE NEW ONES! Good going mom. It's been two-three years and NO LOST KEYS! When it comes to money, NO ONE LIKES TO PAY so her sons were taught a valuable lesson! And their case, it worked!
@@nvelsen1975 We believe we were scammed by the dealer. When we read our receipt it said they bypassed the alarm being we were not willing to pay the extra charge.. Now we must get it done again, as insurance is based on having the alarm. We will never buy another car from Ford. Our son is mentally handicapped but lives on his own, works, and of course drives. We bought the car new for him in 2015 and he lost the 1st set early on. The second set, well, it is just sat they were lost. He could never have afforded getting keys made. Any ideas on were we could get it done reasonable?
@@desertwind306 Define "reasonable" as a modern key programming will never be comparable to a traditional key cutting. You can boycott Ford if you want, but your experience won't be much different with every other modern vehicle. They know people will always need keys made and "modern security" is their excuse to charge such prices on top of the standard dealership scams. Your best bet is to find an honest local locksmith that isn't going to be adding in any unknown fees, but don't expect it to be significantly cheaper. Hindsight being 20/20, replacing the first lost key sooner would have saved a lot of frustration. Cloning an existing key will always be easier than generating a new key. In some cases, it's only dealerships that can generate new keys.

Normally I fast forward advertisements made by a vloger promoting a product, but for you Johnny I make an exception just because you are you. You put in an honest hard days work and if me watching the the promotion give you extra revenue I'll gladly do it.
I have way to much stress in my life than to add watching for a tow truck to possibly come take my car because of something I did or did not do. Who has that much time on their hands to watch for the truck to roll in? I just will never understand why people do not do what they need to as a car owner.
When I first ran across your channel, these are the type of videos, that I like. THEY were youneak, different from everyone else, and after I cought up, on all your videos, I would like to think, I know just a little bit, about the man that makes them. I see a good, onust man. That climbs into that cab everyday, knowing how dangerous it is. Your respect is and carrying, for others is bigger than the size of your truck. Your road side videos for pickup for the cops, is like watching paint dry. On the other hand, on the recks when you have to do, some teckneal winchen. Like the car that was next to the power lines. Now that was skill, of a professional at work. From me and mine, may God keep blessing us for better or worse.
As a viewer from the UK I still find it amazing that security guards have firearms and that firearms are so easily available . That makes any job dangerous especially one like yours
Another outstanding demonstration of your superb skills, Mr. Johnny. I always look forward to being notified that you’ve dropped another video. Stay safe my brother.
Once you get on the property you have to be fast. Good thing that guys is there to make it a bit easier for you. I really enjoy your content Johnny. Keep it coming and stay safe out there.
Hey Johnny you was busy today. A lot of cars that will probably never go back onthe road!!! Stay safe mr!! Havea great weekend to ur self and towtrucker family
There’s always cars to tow at the apartments. I have never lived in an apartment so I wouldn’t really know but I can imagine it would be a pain not having anywhere to park your car if it’s broke down. But I will always have insurance on every vehicle we own. We live in the Texas panhandle where we just went through all the wildfires. We were evacuated out of our house 3 days ago and just got to come back today. Our town looks like a war zone. We didn’t know if we had a home to come back to. Thankfully the fire got up to our alley and the wind changed direction and so our street was spared. Over 200 homes in our small town were burned leaving not even walls standing. I have been shocked at how many people didn’t have insurance. They lost everything. It’s heartbreaking. Stay safe and God Bless
Johnny it's Great watching you and another Driver get those Autos out of there QUICK and no Consequences. Just keep Up The Great Video's Coming And Always Be Safe Out There.
Sorry if I'm a little slow on this one...but was the red, wheel-lifter a co-worker of yours or are they working for the complex to help you get more vehicles faster?
Some of the trucks and cars here were just towed out after second warning about flat tires, they were given ten days and the second warning was another five days and towed away
great work johnny rolling in hot as always man. It is crazy to know how many managers have friends that get towed all the time. Anyway stay safe johnny peace
You're grabbing cars like candy bars 🤣 Roll in Hot Johnny👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
It absolutely pays to be friendly and nice to EVERYONE. In every situation. The world needs more of it, not less.
What surprises me from other videos, is seeing Johnny wearing a bullet proof vest…that is something you don’t see where I live….ever 🤯 🇪🇸 Stay safe!
@@37Raffaella no, nor me. In Australia, we feel very safe from gun violence.
I chuckled when the cop told the lady, I don't want to hear your mouth. She got quiet real quick.
Hook and book! Johnny's got the gift!
That apartment complex has a lot of junk cars !!
That's a sign of wealth. Having a parts car or two in the yard can save money when repairing your car.
Most not even worth scrap
That’s a sight having junk cars dam I know tons of rich folks
@@downfromtherafters1013 yep!! I must be rolling in money then 😅

That's massive levels of BS. I needed a key replacement for my BYD and that was less than 400.
