Like a week ago, I was looking for a new mobile game to play thats not crazy pay to win. As soon as i saw this game i set the reminder to download when it became available in my region. I am hooked!
I made a few of these mistakes myself during Soft Launch but I'm learning from my mistakes. I crafted my 2nd Sabrina card just to play in PvP. Very next day, I get another Sabrina in my daily free pack. I crafted 2 Gardevoir as well, but I'm not as bothered about that. Seeing as there's a lifetime achievement for collecting 5 of them! As for wonder picks, I always go for the spot I last saw the card. So if the ex is top right before the shuffle, I pick top right. Yesterday I got a Regular non ex Venusaur and today I got the Full Art Gyarados in the thumbnail in thus video. Pretty risky since I don't actually need Gyarados for any deck building, and I would probably have pulled one eventually, since I've started pulling on the Pikachu packs now anyway.
I've wonder picked the cards i wanted first chance. I had my best friends voice in my head screaming middle for the alt art charmander looking at the stars. Sure do wish he could be here to enjoy the greatness. Dank video man!
1:27 That is excellent advice right there. The meta will always shift, so better to play for the long haul if you are a low spender. One meta deck is really all you need.
My progress after playing 1 day is mewtu deck almost done (only missing 1 guardevoir) and marowak deck almost done (also only missing 1 marowak ex). I'm happy with that, hopefully I get the missing ones soon
I got a crown rare Pika at 0.053% odds so im conflicted on rerolling my acc, but on all other fronts im glad to maximize my acc progress with this video!
Thx for the tips. I was considering resetting, but on my second 10-pack pull I got 2 Venusaur EXs, so I got enough to make a Venusaur deck. Im happy with that.
I’m more of a collector than a player . I just wanted to start with the full art Gyarados and immersive pikachu . After 5 rerolls I got what I wanted 😊
I started the game because I really liked the tcg game on the gameboy from way back then. I don't want to min max and approach it casually so I just got the Mewtwo packs. Ended up getting both Mewtwo ex cards in 10 packs lol
They still shafting global, need at least 30-60 packs that the pre release players got though daily packs that can be given in the mail box for new accounts like a catch up to the pre-release.
Found your channel, great content! Definitely been helpful. I actually rolled on one account through Nintendo and then one through Google, ended up getting a better roll on the latter. Have you done a guide on what to spend in the shop, particularly Shop Tickets. Going for the Pack Hourglass seems the play but I'm unsure. Thanks again for the content!
They really should add in a system where if you send thanks to someone and they don’t send back then none of you get it, works both ways. Way too many petty people out there that do this
My very first pvp duel was my exeggutor deck vs their charizard deck, and even though I got the turn 2 exeggutor set up, he hit me with a Sabrina on turn 1. But I still held my own and as soon as he realized he may not win (depending on my exeggutor coin flips) he raged quit.... That jerk isn't getting a "Thanks", but I appreciate the free dub....
I’ve been using a tracker to pull from the pack I have the most missing but I wish I did your plan of pulling one pack until I had basically every card from the pack I need!

The biggest mistake is worrying about what you could get vs actually enjoying the game. I fell in love with farfetch'd. gives me quick KOS. the articuno and misty combo is nasty. also executor only requires 1 energy AND erica heals for 50
Green is nasty and venesaur is only hard countered by charizard. Gotta run a blaine deck to counter it early. If i see a bulbasaur im sabrina-ing that bish

I love this game so much but the only problem that I am finding is once your collection is complete what really is there to do? I mean there is battling but since there is so leaderboard or ranking system there isn’t much incentive to battle

I just enjoy the game and try not to have that "perfect" roll. That "perfect account" mentality defeats the enjoyment and exploration of any game.

Most of the cards' artwork are especially the immersive cards and rainbow boarder cards
