Using replacement parts from Marco Makes, Rods Random Works, and Syrett Tech, I'll show you how to make a Hammond Collection Buck Tyrannosaurus Rex! @MarcoMakesOfficial
I❤❤❤ this version of Hammond collection tyrannosaurus rex toy but still beautiful 😍 gorgeous as she is absolutely 100% the way rexy came in the beautiful box
While the original head shape looks more like CGI version (decently) with a blunt teeth. But the Replacement head from marco is look exactly like the winston animatronic. That takes the figure to the next level amazingly
The level of fidelity to their on-screen counterparts is insane when it comes to Marcos sculpts. I'm lucky I've been able to paint as many of them as I have!
I know, right? After I got my first HC rex, I was really hesitant to replace the feet, but I'm so glad I did, and the replacement heads are even better!
@@Jurasshole I was scared that I would damage the head! When i came to this (link) I was so scared I would never stop laughing!😂😂😂 ruclips.net/user/postUgkxW1JYTjeSqsNCuMJC4Y50slklLQ1khd1h?si=2g6omMB96ExehIH9
@@Jurasshole same! when I saw what the head looked like without the top, I was so scared i would not stop laughing! 🤣 ruclips.net/user/postUgkxW1JYTjeSqsNCuMJC4Y50slklLQ1khd1h?si=2g6omMB96ExehIH9
I agree. However, if they did hire him, I don't think they'd give him the creative freedom to what he does best. I think the best thing they could do is hire him as an external consultant/sculptor for the specific purpose tweaking the Hammond Collection line. Unfortunately, I don't think they'd ever do such a thing. For the record, I generally like what Mattel has done with the Jurassic license... generally.
Hey would you be able to do a tutorial on how to modify the mainline velociraptor's eyes to make them glossy without paint/clear coat.....similar to the glass eye effect from the hammond collection
I've gotta be honest, I loathe the glass eyes on the smaller figures. I think that the best thing for them is clean paint, and just a dab of UV resin over them. Maybe I can throw together a quick video.
@Jurasshole would love to see how you'd approach it , I just rly appreciate the idea of the eyes fallowing you as you look at them and I happen to not be a fan of the hammond collection raptors so I'd rather save the money and customize it myself with the mainline
Not unless one was commissioned. I did a spino a while ago that kept the original spinosaurus body, but I used Marcos replacement spino head and tail and replaced the legs with the legs from a Hammond Collection rex. It was a pain in the butt, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. The HC giga is a pretty cool figure, but the overall texture of the body is very different from the spinosaurus, so personally, I don't plan on turning one into a spino. Although there is an HC giga that another customizer turned into an Indominous Rex, and that looks pretty cool!
I've recently gave my carnotaurus by by giving it large cow horns and I've coat the matel horns with clay and painted over it but I got toilet paper and rapd it around the horns and painted over it then I used clear nail polish because I'm broke but there still soft do you do you know what to use to make them hard
I've sculpted all my horns with miliput, and it cures hard. I don't know how you would make horns sculpted from soft material hard. UV resin might could give them a hard exterior, but that costs more than miliput anyways.

I recently replaced my HC Rex’s head and feet and I love it! Marco and Rod did so good!

Great work! Hoping for a Bistahieversor, Dryptosaurus, Neovenator or Mapusaurus repaint next!!
Great suggestions, but unfortunately, they're all dinosaurs I don't have...
OMG!! Thats by far your best one, it literally looks like the film
Thank you!
I've had a lot of practice at this point!

Woo!
Creaking Skull
What color is the Warm buff countershading? it looks so good for the repaint
Warm Buff is the same of a light beige color from Apple Barrel. I use it a lot! It's a great starting point for painting dinosaurs!
@@Jurasshole just Beige or Khaki?
Can you do a custom Hammond collection spino on the Hammond giga with the Marco makes spino head.
