The sounds he made with his guitar were intended to replicate the sounds of planes dropping bombs, the explosions, and people screaming and crying. At 12:23 he plays "Taps", which is a simple tune only played at military funerals, by a single bugler. This performance is iconic! Jimi died at 27. He still is and always will be the GOAT!
