Something not mentioned in this clip is that Chubb is very quiet and not a flashy person. He shows up, works as hard as anyone in the league, is a great teammate, and balls out. If you noticed in these clips he scored dozens of TDs and he basically never celebrates more than going over and hugging and giving credit to his offensive lineman. It's actually kind of a joke that he doesn't talk. There are some NFL Mic'd up clips here it's just him breathing and grunting the whole game, not saying more than a few words.
Thanks for doing this one! The Browns have not had an RB like Chubb since the 1980s with Earnest Byner. It's been a real treat these last few seasons watching some genuine smash-mouth football and we cannot wait for him to be healthy enough to play again!
NFL Films told his Browns teammates that they had Chubb mic'd up for the game. They all said, "Why? He doesn't say anything. You're just going to get breathing and whistles." Which is exactly what they got lol. Hope he comes back from that injury because he is one of the greats.
What's funny is chubb and Barry sanders are very similar personalities too. They just come to work don't complain and do their job. No big celebrations just quiet and unstoppable.
Nick Chubb is a future hall of famer, if he can return to form after this knee injury. The amazing thing is, he already had this same devastating injury in college, and made a miraculous comeback. Every highlight you just saw was AFTER his knee was reconstructed the first time. Now he has to do it all over again. If I remember correctly, he’s one of 3 people in NFL history to average over 5 yards per carry. A few more years of that and I think he’s a Hall of Famer for sure.
I think he is a future hall of famer regardless. But if anyone can return from such a brutal injury, it's Nick Chubb. If somehow he doesn't return to form, he is still a hall of famer.
He is deceptively fast, but also so damn strong. You can find clips of him all over the place squatting like 1000 LBs that freak the strongest people out.
Hopefully Nick Chubb is fully recovered and back to form for 2024. The last two minutes of the video were still every bit as entertaining (No slight to NC.) as the first 16 minutes. You two can be goofballs betimes.😂
One of my all time favorite Browns T-shirts is the ChubbHub: Touchdowns Delivered shirt (which uses the GrubHub font) He's one of the most beloved athletes we've had here in Cleveland I can remember!
Hey, y'all. Love your videos. I remember when Nick Chubb went down. Absolutely devastating what happened to him. Fantastic player. Chubb is from Cedartown, Georgia. Not far from where I'm from. He played at the University of Georgia before being drafted.
Thank you so much 🙏 Was gutted and had been looking forward to seeing Chubb play this season. Glad we’ve seen this video and hope his recovery goes well
If you liked this you should look in to chubbtown, it's a city that his family founded after the slaves were freed. Also his college highlights at uga are great to, he suffered the same knee injury at uga, but his highlights are a great watch
No one has ever reminded me of Barry Sanders more than Nick Chubb. His jump cuts and change of direction are almost as good and he's a little faster and stronger. He's also got the quiet, humble feel that Barry had.
We got very lucky with Chubb’s injury. He underwent two planned surgeries that were successful, and he’s expected to come back sometime next season. Would have been terrible for football if he had his career ended.
Speaking of different styles of running backs, you guys have to react to Leveon bell, he was so patient he would stop behind the o line and suddenly explode for a big gain one of my favorites
Cleveland and Cincinnati are in the same division and play twice a year, but the other factor here is that Cincinnati, in Chubb's first 3 seasons, had a combined record of won 12, lost 35, tied 1 -- in particular their defense was bottom of the league for yards allowed in 2018. Even in 2021, when they made the playoffs, the Bengals defense was in the bottom half of the league for both yards and points allowed.
Looks like instead of stiff arming which he does do occasionally, he prioritizes two hands protecting the ball when being targeted for a tackle. Would explain his really low amount of fumbles (only lost 6 his entire career)
The reason for seeing him (and Henry) against the same teams is within their four team divisions everybody plays each other twice. The AFC North is Browns, Bengals, Steelers, Ravens...so players will be beating up on the same team sometimes in highlight videos because there are just way more games played against each other.
There are few that have the speed/power combo that he does. His greatest ability though is his willpower, dragging potential tacklers with him into the end zone. Also just a straight up good dude. Get better soon Chubb
Nick Chubb went to Georgia in college; he was on the same team that Tua Tagovailoa beat in the National Championship game with the game-winning touchdown pass to DeVonta Smith in Overtime. In the draft, it was largely assumed that the carries he amassed in college along with a sustained injury or two meant that he wouldn't be as effective in the NFL. His backfield mate, Sony Michel (who beat Oklahoma on a game-winning touchdown run the game before the National Championship against Alabama), was a lighter, smoother runner who, despite his own injuries, was assumed to be more likely to adapt to the pro game by having a style useful in the passing game (Alvin Kamara was the running back du jour at the time). Sony was drafted by the Patriots and won a Super Bowl with them as a rookie in 2018, but his injuries had clearly taken the burst out of him over time. He never did seem to figure out that passing game, and after bouncing around to a couple teams, Sony Michel retired at the beginning of this season. And Nick Chubb, injuries and all, persists as one of the best running backs in football. Hopefully a successful recovery for him.
-Hey fellas, check out this clip of Nick squatting. You'll understand why he has such power after seeing this... He and Miles Garrett are freaks of nature.... ruclips.net/user/shorts5TA_3zoBjcc?si=gXdGQbplPozIflnX -Yes, the Bengals are in the same division and in-state rivals. Fun fact, the original owner of the Bengals, Paul Brown, was the head coach of the Browns and who the team was named after. He fell out with then owner Art Modell, who eventually took the team later to Baltimore to create the Ravens, so he left and created the Bengals...
Re:Chubb vs. the Bengals... The Browns are the only team named after a person, their co-founder and first coach Paul Brown. He was the coach from 1946-1963, when he was fired by owner Art Modell. Brown was away from football for 5 years, and then re-entered the NFL as a stakeholder and coach of the new Cincinnati Bengals. Cincinnati is also in Ohio, so not only did Paul Brown come back to the NFL, he was the local competition. He used the same color scheme for their uniforms. The Browns and the Bengals are historic rivals. Brown was salty about not being a Brown anymore.
Nick Chubb, Todd Gurley, and Sony Michel, were all on the University of Georgia team at the same time. Todd Gurley was looking to a star with the Rams before he injured his knees. Michel was more highly regarded at one point and won a Super Bowl with New England and retired this off season. In some ways Nick Chubb was least regarded of them in college.
Little bit of a polar opposite of Barry and Chubb, you guys should watch Le’Veon Bell. Announcers calling him patient was a bit of a meme. He would let his blockers do their work, and hit the hole at the perfect opportunity. Key part of the Steelers Killer B’s offense era. If you watch Bell’s highlights, you’ll need to check out Antonio Brown’s highlights as well. Best receiver in the NFL when he was in his prime.
This post has inspired me. So I have decided to have the surgery, I'm just waiting on a Lion donor so that I can get rid of this mundane human heart of mine.
RBs will hesitate slightly to allow the offensive line to set up their blocks, THEN they will explode through the open hole…..It’s an adaptation that I think may have come from the likes of Walter Payton, Barry, and others.
When they were both healthy and at their peak, nick Chubb was honestly a much better running back than Derrick Henry. Henry just was so popular because of his physical attributes
My Browns are cursed this year: First Chubb goes down for the season, then our T Conklin for the season, then our T Wills (may be back), then QB1 Watson for the season, CB1 Denzel Ward out with a concussion, now QB2 DTR gets a concussion today and probably misses next week, WR1 Amari Cooper takes a big hit and goes out, DE Myles Garrett hears a "pop" in his left shoulder that HOPEFULLY isn't bad, and CB Emerson leaves the game. Literally having the worst luck of any team this year.
Chubb is one of those bruising running backs who forces defensive backs to make a " business decision " on whether or not to take him on when he comes rumbling at them .
Still think you need to react to Antonio Brown. One of the best receivers ever and arguably the very best receiver of the 2010s, yes over Calvin Johnson and Julio Jones.

Iron Bowl was lit

Clocks in...does his job....Clocks out...love it!
Thank you for this. Nick Chubb never really gets the amount of respect I feel he deserves. When he’s on that field he’s the best RB in the game today.
Thanks for doing this one! The Browns have not had an RB like Chubb since the 1980s with Earnest Byner. It's been a real treat these last few seasons watching some genuine smash-mouth football and we cannot wait for him to be healthy enough to play again!

What’s crazy is he sustained that injury before in college. Hopefully he will return better than ever.
What's funny is chubb and Barry sanders are very similar personalities too. They just come to work don't complain and do their job. No big celebrations just quiet and unstoppable.

I was waiting for somebody else to say this! He’s already had that knee get brutally injured once!
I think he is a future hall of famer regardless. But if anyone can return from such a brutal injury, it's Nick Chubb. If somehow he doesn't return to form, he is still a hall of famer.
As a Browns fan this is making me really miss Chubb. The Browns offense needs him badly.
Nick Chubb is one of the top Running Backs in the NFL. Man that injury was horrifying get well soon Chubb
They talk about the big hits being injury threats ,but most NFL injuries are caused by being twisted or landing awkwardly ,not the collisions .
Chubb was an exceptional sprinter and shot put athlete in high school, so he's very explosive for his size.
as a Steelers fan, in my 25 years of being alive, Nick Chubb is the only Browns player i’ve ever both feared and respected
I love that the first words out of guys mouth was about how quick he is… and that’s not even what he’s known for. Just a once in a lifetime player
Can’t wait to see him back and in action! Thanks for the comment 🙏
Always one of my favorite channels. Now, one of my favorite “comedy” channels.
I laughed too!🤣
Thank you 😂😂
My favorite player. He’s an amazing player and is one of the most humble guys in the league.
He is deceptively fast, but also so damn strong. You can find clips of him all over the place squatting like 1000 LBs that freak the strongest people out.
He hasn’t squatted 1000 lbs…. Most I’ve seen him do is in the 600s. Which is still great
Hopefully Nick Chubb is fully recovered and back to form for 2024. The last two minutes of the video were still every bit as entertaining (No slight to NC.) as the first 16 minutes. You two can be goofballs betimes.😂
Thank you 😂 I couldn’t compose myself 😂
Nick chubb is sooooo smooth, looks like he’s doing so little but does so much 😎
One of my all time favorite Browns T-shirts is the ChubbHub: Touchdowns Delivered shirt (which uses the GrubHub font)

It looked like a career ending injury at first luckily it looks like he will be back next year or at least at sompoint
If you liked this you should look in to chubbtown, it's a city that his family founded after the slaves were freed. Also his college highlights at uga are great to, he suffered the same knee injury at uga, but his highlights are a great watch
Nick Chubb is one of the sweetest humans from the state of Georgia but also one of the best trash talkers. Damn Good Dawg!
Nick #1 Approves 👍Especially that ending bit🤣
😂😂

Wish it included his college days, he was amazing at georgia
I feel like you've got some cfb games to watch lol. Incredible week of games, hope you're doing well
Chubb squatted 625lbs with 3 reps this past offseason. Vid is on youtube.
Nick Chubb is the best thing to happen to the Cleveland browns in my lifetime, and watching him go down this season still hurts me
Thanks for doing this. He is the best running back in the NFL today. May he heal up, because it is so much FUN watching that dude run.
I LOVE NICK CHUBB!! Can't wait to have him back next season! He is missed!

Nick Chubb was a former UGA Dawg Legend! We miss him and hope for a full recovery.
I hope Chubb comes back strong, I love the guy.
There is no better human playing football then Nick Chubb. When you hit him he is like a brick wall
If you reacted to Nick Chubb then you have to watch saquon Barkley
Please make sure you watch his college penn state highlights. They are the most unbelievable highlights you'll ever see!
I suggested React to Thurman Thomas Buffalo Bills HOF RB!

I won so many fantasy games cause of this dude.
I’m surprised neither of u said anything about the old Oakland stadium being half dirt lol
He just feels real old fashioned. Not a showboat like a lot of players nowadays. You don't ever see him dance or do some dumb shit after a TD
Watch the Washington vs wsu game🎉(huskies fan)
I'm sounding like a broken record but priest Holmes please😂😂
AFC North has Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, & Cincinnati. They play each team twice. Cleveland & Cincinnati are from the same state too.
Poor "Sweetness" you guys must be in to the wee hours
Need the reaction to The Game! Surprised it isn’t here yet!!
Idk why it feels like the season just started. But at the same time the Nick Chubb injury feels so long ago
Great video love the pause nick pause chubb Great wins for your teams penn state and Tennessee now both teams to see what bowl they are going to
a consummate professional, evidenced in part by his stepping out of bounds for the good of the game result
Chubb is basically a mix of Henry and Barkley
FINALLY BROWNS REPRESENTATION
First one 🥇 such a shame he had a season ending injury week 2

He's most people's RB 1 in the league he's in my top 10 and maybe top 5 but a lot of people 1
AFC North. the greatest division in football of all time
Above average RB for this era. Probably not in the top ~150 RB's all time.
Joe Burrow has only beaten the Cleveland Browns one time.
React to the Michigan vs Ohio st game please
